This show seems to primarily consist of Vanessa Hudgens continuously pulling the Dreamsworks Face in response to a never-ending plethora of DC references.

How does this have more Batman/Superman wink winks than Gotham or Supergirl.

Not a good first ep

That was pretty poor. I like the cast too, so that's disappointing.

Also, they need to tone down the almost fisheye lens-esque close ups of the actors every other shot. I'm probably the only one bothered by that though.

Episode 2 is the real test I think. Like I said I don't like judging shows off the pilot episode. I managed to rewind and watch more. I don't hate it. So there is that. That's a good place to build. I like the cast they have and I want to see if they're used well. As much as I enjoy looking at Vanessa Hudgens the close up shots are a bit much and those should stop.

I walked out of the room after the boss announced they were all fired, and started putting another coat of primer on the bedroom walls. What invention did they come up with to save the company from being closed down?

They modified the one lady's device that alerted her to the boss's presence to notify them of a villain's presence.

My wife and I enjoyed this quite a bit actually. I got some Better of Ted vibes as well, which is always a good thing.
This is what i said to my friend after watching.

I really enjoyed it and will keep watching till it probably gets canceled considering everyone is shitting on it.

Basically.

This episode was so meh i hope the next i don't episode is better because otherwise if it weren't for the dc comic connection or the kinda interesting premise i don't think i would have ever watched this episode.

Could be interesting if Alan Tudyk turns out to be a supervillain but I doubt they would do something cool like that. First episode was just sort of ok. The Lego Batman commercial otoh was awesome!

Also good call on the DreamWorks face LOL

Yea watched it tonight. Most wretched pile of shit I've seen on tv in a long time. Even the worst shows have managed to get a grin from me. Not this one. You know you have a problem when even Alan Tudyk isn't funny.

Ehh, sure, I can see watching this for awhile. Probably good to have on while I tend to my farm in Stardew Valley

First episode was fine. It was a pilot episode. Those are never indicative of the overall project 🤷🏾*♂️

I like the idea of this show as well as some of the actors involved, but this was not a particularly good start. I will give it a few episodes though to see how it goes.

That was rough...
Will keep watching but the writing is so hit or miss.

Vanessa doesn't have any comedic timing...

"Stop using my HBO Go password" got a good laugh.

I think this show could do well if it goes full-on wacky/meta/screw continuity and worlds, kinda like TTG.

Well, I liked the dig at BvS about the superheroes fighting for vaguely defined reasons.
Hudgens looks exciting in the role. She and Tudyk were the best part.

It needs better support Players than they have, but I will enjoy it until it ends.
in a couple of weeks.

Really wish they'd leave out the horrible CGI superhero scenes.

Show has so much potential, I can see it but damn it's all over the place atm.

I'm with everyone else. I love the individual members of the cast but the trailer looks awful. Delivery of the jokes is crummy.

I just finished the first episode. It was pretty good. Even more cheerful than the most CW CW show. Not the greatest first episode of a show ever, but good.

The best thing about pilot was opening credits, that's it. Everything else was just awful. I'll give it chance 2 more episodes.

Yeah, I dug the intro. Just wished they kept with the theme for the title.

Otherwise, yeah... that was a pilot.

Just watched this. It wasn't as bad as some are making it out to be. Good enough anyways to watch the second episode.

Also as others mentioned the title sequence was great.

The pilot was fun, will watch weekly for my Danny Pudi and Alan Tudyck fix, the rest has potential.

Though if by the end of the series, there isn't an arc where Wayne enterprise goes against Queen industries in corporate war, while Batman and Green Arrow fight for vaguely defined reasons. I will be disappointed in the lost opportunity.

Can they even use any of the other DC stuff? It's weird because you have three different "universes" on TV now.

I have no idea what they can use on the show, but if they can namedrop and reference Batman and Superman that much, it doesn't seem like that much of a stretch to say Batman and Green Arrow are fighting for some reason and just keep it off-screen, and while that's going on, there's a small scale corporate war between the Charm City Wayne branch and some branch of Queen industry that just started in the city

The show seems to be okay with the stuff that happens there affects the superheroes around them, with it ending with them finding out that Batman used their device to catch the joker. so they can just say, Alan Tudyk did something stupid and stole something from Queen industry and this sets off an off-screen fight between Batman and Green Arrow while the cast works to fix the problem.

I dunno, this sounds really cool in my head.
