For years now, I've been writing about DC Universe Online -- about battles with Bizarro, about getting missions from Superman, and about how you're creating your own hero or villain in this massively multiplayer online game and not just being one. But the one thing I haven't been able to write about is when this game is coming to the PlayStation 3 and PC. Now, I can.

I hope the free-to-play rumour is true. Although I'm conflicted as to whether to get this on PS3 or PC. I've always wanted to have a console MMO in my collection.

Given the avalanche of news at E3, it's common for announcements such as this to come out ahead of time so as to not get buried. Megatons, meltdowns and more will proceed as scheduled.

They're more like separate entities living under one roof, they publish PC/Mac games. I believe SOE will, of course, publish console exclusives for the PS systems.
