To the people who don't know who Geese is: do you play fighting games?
It's like being a fan of Rpg's and not knowing who Sephiroth is.

Eliza (The first DLC character for the game) or Bowling (The first DLC part of the Season Pass).
It does in comparison, but I think I lot of stuff looks like it doesn't know how to sell it's final impact in T7. Like, the end of Kazumi's Critical art looks awkward as can be. The End of Eliza's + any time Paul lands a Counter hit DEATHFIST are among some of the best... but even those don't exactly make me crunch the same way a final hit in an SNK game does.
The overall conversion of Geese to this engine (Via Eliza and angry red head dark skin demon guy) seems pretty solid, though. He fits into the engine specifics of T7 very well. I love not only seeing his specials, but even stuff like his HP jumping PattyCake make the transition.

The Sephiroth of fighting games is probably M. Bison. KOF is pretty niche. I don't think a single installment has sold more than a million copies.

Yeah, that's just some real shit. Its like them revealing a Guilty gear character from tekken, most people wont know who the fuck that is.
You gotta understand where you fit in the spectrum, and KOF has always been rather low. I think the thing that speaks to this the most is that, I feel more people know who terry is than they know who kyo is, and kyo is technically the ryu " main character" of SF, and he's just " jacket anime man" for a lot of folks. And yeah terry is the main character of fatal fury, but that distinction doesn't really exist in a lot of folks mind, its all " kof" to them. And a lot of folks aren't familiar with besides knowledge it exists.
Also geese is cool, but sephiroth? God no, i'm not even gonna go in how much more influential FF and FF7 were than like every SNK fighter ever, but Sephiroth started a genre of villain and aesthetic that has been copied in media to this day. Geese is a white dude in a hakama that said some engrish

Fatal Fury is even less popular than KOF.
Edit: I don't think Geese is a bad choice, but it's understandable that people don't know who he is.
