Considering the obstruction Obama faced how will Oprah be any more capable of making change? I've said it before but democrats must stop obsessing about the presidency and focus on getting people into the legislative branch on both the state and federal level. If Oprah really wants to make a difference she should use her considerable influence and resources to make the GOP spend more than they otherwise would have to. Wisconsin in particular would be a good state for her to engage in. Go all in to prop up Tammy Baldwin and take Scott Walker out. Or she could make the racist good ol boys in her birth state of Mississippi sweat. The black community in Mississippi is 40% of the population, she could make a real difference there if she wanted to.

Spread the GOP thin and attack them hard where the numbers are most advantageous.

Oprah is set for life many times over and I doubt she would ruin her career. It would probably elevate her career if she had POTUS as an accomplishment. Most of the folks in the Democratic and Republican parties are clowns who are a huge risk. So I think if her message was good, then she'd have a great shot as a black woman.
