Unknown Soldier said:Conduit 2 multiplayer will be unplayably hacked within a week of release. And the single player of Conduit 1 wasn't exactly mind-blowing compared to FPSes of the PS2/GC/Xbox generation much less the PS3/360 generation. I don't see any reason whatsoever to be interested in Conduit 2 after the stark disappointment that was Conduit 1.
If you are one of the 12 people still clinging to motion controls as some kind of savior of console FPSes I suggest getting Playstation Move and waiting for Killzone 3. We know that KZ3 will at least be a solid FPS title backed by a stupidly gigantic budget (plus it will be in 3D! :lol) and so it will be up to Guerilla Games to implement motion controls in a reasonably intuitive way without completely destroying balance between Move players and DS3 players online.

Seriously let's be real for a second, I bought that along my ps3 and well.....it's certainly not as crappy as Tcon's campaign but it's certainly not exciting enough to be highly anticipating the sequel with anticipation either.
And why the fuck would anyone pluck over 400bucks to get something similar to what he gets butmarginallybetter looking?
Unknown Soldier said:Other than fucking Rico fucking swearing about every fucking thing every other fucking sentence, KZ2's campaign was actually pretty damn fun. It was basically Call of Duty: Future Warfare but Guerilla put in some very nice graphics and the bosses were reasonably well-thought out when you weren't throwing your controller against the nearest wall in generic rage after another cheap death.
Unknown Soldier said:Is it actually too much to assume that most people on GAF own more than 1 console a generation? I've got a PS3, a 360, and a Wii, all of which I'm ignoring right now to play FFXIV on my PC. :lol
Mael said:I have a ps3 (that's how I played KZ2 after all), I'm NOT putting 60 bucks to get extra wiimotes that work on ps3.
Pointer-based aiming/shooting has nothing to do with motion controls (and besides, KZ3 isn't out yet).Unknown Soldier said:applications of motion controls to console FPS
Unknown Soldier said:Look, I'm not going to buy PS Move either. Just understand the context of what I was saying. If you are interested in Conduit 2, you must be still interested in applications of motion controls to console FPS. There is no other reason anybody would care about Conduit 2 after Conduit 1 sucked so much. So, if you are that seriously interested in motion controls in console FPS, I was merely suggesting another console FPS which already has the pedigree of a solid single-player campaign, multiplayer that some people loved to death, and a multi-zillion dollar budget. That's all I was saying.
I'm going to get banned for mentioning a console other than the Wii in a Wii-related thread, aren't I?
