i was charged

fwiw, i used PayPal as my payment method. very common for PayPal to charge when you place an order, be it a preorder or not.

so they still may not honor it. but my money is on the table.

Expect a third that goes back to 6/2, at least that is what happened with me.

4AM update to 6/2, 5AM update to 6/1, and then a final email at 10AM saying 6/2 again.

Never was interested in beat em ups, but damn my first price error jump, the steel book looks solid and can add it to my collection of steel books...

Paid via PayPal, showed authorisation charge first but today, it's showing complete payment of $65.28 (including tax)

Damn it. I emailed Walmart a few hour ago and asked them if this was an error and if they would honor it, but I never heard back.

Wal-Mart: "Huh, the date is wrong. Better email those who pre-ordered"

I got the emails too but the status became "undefined".

As explained in switch thread, this is the default status for backorders and will automatically cancel after ten days if stock isn't found.....

Walmart honored these prices 2 years back. I received the LE Arkham Knight and Uncharted 4. Still waiting on KH and yes, Walmart has been updating me with e-mails for when the "release date" changes.

People ordered Switch from Walmart earlier this week with initial delivery date of yesterday and today but no one received any and the status shows "undefined". Many who contacted Walmart were told this is what happens when order is back ordered and if they can't find a fulfillment within 10 days then order will be automatically cancelled.

Some people have even asked CS if it was to possible to keep order and not automatically cancel so they can be ahead of line when inventory is available but were told not and that orders will be automatically cancelled after 10 days.

Mine also says undefined on their app even though I have a pickup date. Guess I'll wait 10 days and see if it gets canceled or not. Wonder if that applies to things that haven't been released yet, unlike the Switch.

Ironically, Namco lost sales. I'm sure people who weren't thinking of getting it were excited to at least try it at that discount. No one's paying $90 for a statue in NA.
