I got mine from a web page right after I bought it with the key on there and everything

They cannot legally charge you more after placing the order. What people should be worried about is Ubisoft's strict DRM saving their asses: they may be able to remotely kill the keys purchased for $1.

Honestly, I would not pre-order R.U.S.E. for a $1. They actually got Ubisoft to remove their always connected DRM, so it might be better to just buy it to show support for the removal of Ubisoft's DRM.

Get an email? It gives you the order number that once entered into their website brings you to the download page.

PC version of what? Either way go to your email and look for the confimations, there will be a key and a link to download at the bottom of the email.

I don't know if they can revoke it after you paid and downloaded. You have a receipt and if you used a CC you entered into a legal contract with them. It's no different from buying something from the store, getting home with the product, and then having the store calling you saying they made a mistake and want their stuff back.

They can't do that.

The pre-ordered stuff they can (and almost definitely) will cancel.

There's absolutely no way they can legally do that. They would get cleaned out in court if they did.

The most they could do is retcon the serial keys and refund everyone's $1.

No they can't. Once you take delivery of a product (paid, etc, with a receipt, etc) it's yours to keep. If the store made a mistake they're SOL.

Yeah, exact same problem here. No download code and it still says processing. I think they're catching the Splinter Cell buys and halting the keys.

I got Conviction and did the direct PC download. There's no download link in the email. It just says to enter your Order infomation and it'll take you to a download link and there's none.

They are being reported as they go up, selling cd keys without physical copies is not allowed I believe. Sometimes they get through but these ones are being reported by other people who got in on the deal apparently.
