I think whats happened here is that the product ID's arnt correct, and using certain numbers you can make them reflect a price of $1, hence why its now popping up for basically every game on the site. Im not sure how people are figuring this out though.

I think Ive seen this happen before, like on Columbia House I think. People were able to get big DVD sets for a couple bucks each. In fact thats why I have a few seasons of Star Trek, the James Bond collections, etc.

It looks like they are being fixed as fast as they come up now.

Welp, I've managed to get SC:C, ACII, and PoP for a buck each. Thanks GAF! Although, it's weird...I only got an email confirmation for SC:C. So I'm saving the ubi pages that display the serial keys. Hope they work.

I see four possible situations here.

1. Ubi did this intentionally to get PC gamers back on their side after their massive DRM fuckup (not likely).

2. Ubi was updating something on their store and somehow unintentionally that update set many of their games to the price of a dollar. Only it did not take place all at once and the update took hours. (not likely)

3. A hacker is responsible and did it to prove a point. (likely)

4. A hacker did it and now may have access to all of your over eager credit cards. (likely)

Lets hope for 1, 2 and 3 for all of your sakes.

On a serous note, I highly doubt a hacker did this. If they did, they would of most likely changed the main listings if there goal was to fish for credit cards. Most likely, this is a problem that has existed for a few months now and just now someone noticed it, most likely though a Google search.

I purchased the French version of Prince of Persia and, after I completed downloading the game, I was given the option to install it in English. I'm pretty sure Splinter Cell will offer you something similar.
