The first two seasons were really good (with season 1 being legitimate great television), but I'm struggling to remember anything after that. But I guess this is the fourth prison they're breaking out of, and Michael has his tattoos again?

Have you seen the show? There was a group called The Company, my guess is they faked his tumor/death to let him rot in prison for the shit storm he caused for them.
The writers confirmed it was never her head in the box although we all know why they did it, it was because of the contract disputes and they wanted a way out with the character.

Legitimately excited for this. I loved Prison Break back in the day, all in for this.
Their roles are switched for obvious thematic reasons. Purcell gets to pay his brother back for rescuing him.

You're a big guy.
I don't care what the writers say, as it was a stupid story that relied on a lot of stupid assumptions made by characters. The reason for the faked death on the bad guy's end never made a lick of sense. They were just covering their asses.
They are not making this show for people that watched season 3 and beyond. They are going to Superman Returns it and try to bring people back based on the more positive reception of 1 and 2.
