Just picked this up. I tried the demos for both PES and Fifa, and (as a total beginner) had a lot more fun with PES.

Does installing the game data (ps3) make any real difference?

I played the crap out of the demo, so I can't wait to spend some time with this game.

I'm assuming BAL a "Be A Pro" rip off for Pro Evolution Soccer.....? Typical Seabass putting stuff like this in when they still don't have the online working.

Anyone bought Aoki Samurai no Chousen? I keep reading how the responsiveness is fixed to WE 9/10 levels and how the animation is less broken and strings better, but I don't know if it's worth it or not. Anyone?

This mode was in AGES ago... originally by PES... not FIFA.
As for the online your right... its pretty much shit.

So I got PES 2010 for the PS3 tonight and discovered to my dismay that Long Pass Modes are no longer available. I've been using Long Pass Mode Type 4 since 2005, and it's not an exaggeration to say I base my PES game around it.

I thought I knew about all the features from last-gen PES titles that were missing like PLay Again rewind in training mode, but since PES 2009 had Long Pass Modes and other extra control options (see picture) I never thought Konami would yank them out of PES 2010.

Just picked up 2010. I'm liking it bigtime so far, long time Winning Eleven player.

Some questions:

1. Online community: is this so I can play my friends and it keeps a log?

2. Right stick is now only manual passes? I remember the double tap LB for stepover, but all other dekes are with the LS?

3. Online match rooms: Is there a place I can read up on this? Being in the US, I see that there are 2 US rooms; I try and join them but usually they wont connect. Quick match usually gives me someone in South America. I'm 1 and 1 so far. Lost my first game (laggy) 2-0 to a guy from Brazil, and then won 4-3 over some guy from Columbia. Niiice.

I also wanted to say that the roster updates are nice, but a) Adriano on Brazil is rated shit and b)Ronaldinho is not even on there. Any futures updates you think?

About to win my first Konami Cup (YEEEAAAHHH) and loadtimes are awesome.

Can't wait for 2011.
