Project CARS 2 - Announcement Trailer

What do they mean by 60+ tracks? If it's 60 locations then it's fantastic and double the first game..if it's just track variants (e.g. 3 slightly modified Silverstone circuits) then it's a disappointing number compared to the first..

PC1 had 110 track variations at launch, so the 60+ number for PC2 has to be locations, otherwise it's less than PC1 and they say PC2 has the most tracks of any console racing game to date.

Most PC1 tracks will be returning, so I guess you have the answer right there.

Did they make changes to the bumpiness of the Nordschleife? It was SO much bumpier than the 3 laserscanned versions I've driven on in other sims. I'm really fine with non-laserscanned, but that particular track really wasn't doing it for me in pCARS1.

It's laser scanned now. The combined version too.

Project cars on the PC was fine. No issue with it. Right now we are flooded with racing games. Not sure how they will end up differentiating themselves. Horizon did a good job this year of providing a good open world game. Honestly it made me really want to play a new burnout paradise title. But for basic racing sims, the market feels saturated.

I have to say i am a bit disappointed on the graphics side: looks too much like PC1 to me...

The framerate already looks very solid though... which is the most important element to me. (Edit: watched some more videos...framerate is not so great yet actually... )

So... not really thrilled by what I saw.

I don't know: maybe I am expecting too much from SMS...

NB: Looks like the gameplay with a controler is way better now. The guys don't seem to struggle that much.

Does anyone know why the footage with the weird flashing shader issues was released? That's not a subtle quirk, and I feel like it would have just as easily been corrected.
