Project Morpheus on June 6th Tonight Show

Poop. It was fun to dream while it lasted.

I don't think Morpheus becomes a consumer product until late next year at the earliest. They're not going to push what will presumably be a fairly expensive peripheral when the main objective is still to get as many PS4's out there as possible.

They'll probably want to watch how things progress with the Oculus too, and that will probably hit at the end of this year at the earliest.

Although I'd like PM to release soon, I don't hope it because I guess it will do a lot better if they can refine the hardware and increase the amount of software available at launch. But still PM appearing at the Tonight Show, suggests Morpheus will also get quite some attention at E3, and might even suggest a release is more imminent than thought by many.

Any way to watch the show live from europe?
I don't know if even asking is prohibited, so mods please warn before ban, pretty please.

Wow, a live TV thread a cord cutting cheap skate like me can take part in!

He seems hyped about it. One thing about VR is it's tough to convey if you're not the one wearing the gear.

Fair enough. People some times link illegal broadcast sites which ends poorly for them.

It's not exactly clear-cut that restreaming broadcast TV is legal.

Aereo was sued and their service actually provides each customer with their own antennae which is then forwarded over the internet.

It applies more to PPV and things like HBO but with some of those sites, you might just be pulling a free broadcast but they could be ripping those premium channels as well. Not trying to start anything, more just looking out for fellow gaffers.
