This is Namco's Free to play Wii U game, btw
Seems like the beta starts September 3rd? At least that's what it seems to say at the bottom of this page: http://pj-treasure.bn-ent.net/online/

Need JapanGAF to verify.

The narrator in that trailer was really putting all he had into pushing this game---but it just looks really unappealing to me in every way. I'm not even sure what kind of game it really is.

Really want to know who's developing this. It's not Monolith as they wouldn't use Unreal 3 and also they'd make something more polished than that I feel. :P

Looks interesting enough for a F2P game. Could be fun, hope it get a bit more polished but the concept seems solid enough

Yeah, they are going to use Xenosaga characters if the teaser still stands. Doesn't seem like a MS game, maybe the smaller team (the one that made Project X Zone)

Kind of wish it wasn't f2p and that Nintendo gave it a decent budget.

Looks like it could be fun with some heavy polish, but this just looks meh right now.

Harada's been pretty involved in the PR so I'd guess the Tekken team('s interns).

Wouldn't like ALL of the Tekken team be on both Tekken 7 and Pokken?

Unlikely as they'd be on PXZ2, also again, Monolith wouldn't use Unreal 3 I feel, Nintendo and any of its teams seemingly don't want to use 3rd-party engines aside from the odd use of like Havok and such, hell Game & Wario had a crapton of engines going by the back cover, THAT was absolutely bizarre to see.

Sure didn't help Devil's Turd.

Devil's Third is a completely different situation. That game wasn't meant for Wii-U in the first place and was stuck in dev hell all the while switching engines (more than once?).

it was doomed to fail unfortunately and who knows what kind of budget DT had anyway, I'd be surprised if Ninty gave Itagaki more than 2 cases of beer and a 100 pack of newports.

It's free and co-op, two of my favorite things in an online game, I'm just wondering about game balance with micro transactions at this point.

Doesn't matter if it's Free to Play, that frame rate is unacceptable so I hope they fix that. Bandai Namco have had enough experience with the Wii U. They need to lock that down.

I only noticed one scene with a noticeably bad framerate, and when I did see it there was clearly a crap ton happening on screen. Kind of odd that they chose to use that in the trailer, but there's no reason to believe (as far as I can tell) that it's a constant problem.

There were about 3 scenes.

Hm...it looks okay for a F2P game.

The Narrator was great. I can imagine how he was in front of the microphone and tense all of his muscles while he was saying the new game titel.

Just looks like Nintendo's really desperate and forced attempt to get some more mature online games on the Wii U.

Concept looks interesting but that's about it.

Ehhh I was on the beta for Rise of The Imperfects and the game didnt end up good IMO. This might go the same route as that.

I simply mean it has time to tighten up, and unlike Devils Third it's got a bigger studio behind it to do so...

BTW: not shitting on Devils Third it just is what it is.
