Protests outside of Trump tower right now

Oh please. We've had several massive protests across the country in cities big and small on a regular basis since January. We still have to pay the bills and live our lives.

It's nowhere near enough. The media's doing a great job normalizing his (and the GOP's) lunacy, but you guys are way more comfortable than you should be right now.

Trump has barely been in Trump Tower since he became President

He doesn't have to be physically there for protests to happen.

Watch the NYPD treat these protesters much worse and with much more violence than what they did to fucking nazis and white supremacists

(Aka the police are white supremacists themselves)

How do these things get organized so quickly? Or was it planned a while ago?

the most densely populated and most populated city in the county with above average public transit means word spreads fast and people can gather quickly.

i mean of course they will. they didnt want to hurt their friends in charlottesville, after all.

He would have to be with Roman Reigns for people to chant like that at him.

Those cops were the nicest cops I've ever seen. Just cordially stood there as a mob of Nazis literally climbed and jumped all over them.

Also, saw this earlier today. This is a block away from the building's entrance. He'll inevitably drive right past it:

Do you realize how big the United States is? I can protest with 25 people in my rural Southern Maine town and nobody would give a shit. Meaningful protests need to be large, organized, and publicized. This requires many Americans to take time off of work and spend hundreds of dollars on travel. This is something most Americans cannot afford to do. Attending the Women's March would have cost me $700, including the lost wages. I did not have $700.

This is why you see protests like this one in New York (local, effective, focused) and counter-protests (Charlottesville, Seattle). Americans are protesting as often as possible and showing up in crucial places. But having thousands of Americans on the White House lawn every single day is not possible OR effective.

Sorry I'm too busy trying to keep bills paid and food around to get myself out to New York or DC to protest. If you can afford such a tall horse to sit on surely you can toss me some cash to make my way out there right?

Basically you'll shit on any attempt if it doesn't fit your criteria. As if youre3 ignorant to the ish that's happened over the weekend. Right on...

I can't tell you how important these protests are as far as I'm concerned.
People need to show up and demonstrate that they're not ok with nazis running the country.
