This only helps those who updated before they learned about the hack. It's also worth noting that this won't help with games which require FW 3.50. Until they figure that out, hacking will block you from playing all the newest releases.

Nobody knows what will happen with GT5 for sure but there have been fixes that you can apply to recently released games (e.g. COD Black Ops) and play just fine on any jailbroken system.

It was bull cuz it was just a rumor made by speculators. They wouldn't have been able to completely rebuild the game with a new SDK and only be 3 days late to manufacturing.
