PS Plus: Free Games for September 2015

Teslagrad and La Mulana EX are excellent, even though La Mulana is going to be hard af for everyone (it is for me, even). Y'all are spoiled. Can't wait to play Super Time Force and I would've gladly paid for it. Xeodrifter is PS+ too? Should be great. Liked Mutant Mudds a lot.

How will I do any of this around MGS5, though?

Good month! I recommend Twisted Metal. One of the most fun multiplayer ever. Huge shame about its horrible launch, really killed it.

the one i m the less interested in is grow home, i would have love the 2 others(specially armello) but a good month much better than last month.
the vita games were underwhelming at best.

It really was awesome once it started working. Total shame for sure. I only got to play it for a good month or so before selling my PS3 at the time and always wish we could get another one just like it, but a lot better on PS4.

How difficult are the puzzles in Teslagrad? I'm not much of a puzzle guy and don't like when there's more than light puzzles. I do wish PS Plus didn't have soooo many puzzles games. I really like platformers and don't mind if they have light puzzles but don't like puzzle heavy ones.

I'm really looking forward to everything except La Mulana and Teslagrad. Have Teslagrad on PC and am pretty meh on it. Everything else I have been eyeing to some degree or another, but particularly excited for Grow Home and STFU.

I can't believe that this is taking up a slot.

Good lord.

I'd say this is quite a solid lineup of games this month. This is one of the few occasions where I'm actually interested in every game on the list.

Great month for me, all games that were on my radar. Glad I decided to wait on Teslagrad and La Mulana. Almost picked both up during the last sale.

Good lord.

Care to elaborate on why you're so distraught as opposed to shitting on it then buggering off? I never understand why someone just says something like this with no follow through. Is this a discussion forum or a shit-on-games-i-don't-like-because-nevermind forum?

Indie games =/= Real games. Everyone knows that.

Oh awesome. I was just looking at the 21 side-scrolling platformers from PS+ and my first thought was "I really want another 3 this month!"

Nice selection. I expected Xeodrifter when I saw its release date but I knew La Mulana would come one day or another. I always wanted to try that game.
I'll try Teslagrad and Super Time Force Ultra too but I'm not too interested in Twisted Metal and Grow Home.

I guess I'm way too out of touch with games. I've never heard of any o lf these games. Most of the time I end up finding something new that I've never heard of that I end up really liking.

Here's to hoping for that again in September.

Jesus people, in which planet is this a bad month?

A lot of people (perhaps the majority?) don't like most of the indie Pixel Art type games. To my taste, it's a pretty "meh" month for this reason.

Ultimately, Sony has a tough job w/ the monthly PS+ game rentals. It's difficult to satisfy everyone all the time. And in the interest of trying to get my money's worth, I'll give these a shot as always. But, nothing this month looks to be the kind of game that's going to convince me to re-up my PS+ sub when it expires in October.

I held out on buying Teslagrad because in my heart of hearts I knew it was the perfect candidate for PS+.

Not so excited for Grow Home, but good that Armello will be getting a 30% discount (better than nothing!)

Great month, excited to finally play super time force after forgetting to buy the xbox version, and grow home looks like a cool little timewaster.

I too wish Armello had won but I gotta say I almost voted for Grow Home, that looked pretty good too. Good month all around, not sure how much I'll get to play with Phantom Pain there too but I've been really wanting to check out Super Time Force.

Really solid month.

Wish Armello won instead of Grow Home though. Shrug.

Same. I'm still buying it, don't get me wrong, but I wish this indie studio got the PS+ bump . Ubisoft did good with Grow Home but being ubisoft and the game being $8? already it seemed like it was the worst of pick of the group. Especially since grow home is a game most of us should have played already.

OK, since you have Teslagrad, you're the one to answer my question from the post above yours. What are the puzzles like?

Yeah, I can't believe this well-received Metroidvania by a talented indie developer is taking up a slot, that's bullshit, it should be something totally awesome like Knack.
Would you believe I bought Knack with absolutely no intention of ever playing it, just so it would never blight the PS+ IGC with its stench? It was on sale for $10, but even so.

No no no, you don't need to thank me.
