PS Plus: Free Games for September 2015

I can't believe that this is taking up a slot.

Good lord.
Awesome that we're getting such a cool game, isn't it? :D

That, La Mulana and STFU on my Vita, best month this year so far for me. I was going to pay for STFU and Xeodrifter at launch anyway, have had my eye on them for a while.

Exactly. I'm not arguing that indie games shouldn't have some representation-- but there's been nothing even close to the clout of those games mentioned, now seven months into my year-long subscription. It's been 95% indies, 5% Ground Zeroes (which I had already tried)... so as my renewal date approaches, I'm not seeing any reason to re-up; I'd lose nothing and miss nothing by letting the sub lapse.

Depends what you pay for PS+ for, I suppose.

If you're a PS4 owner, and don't want online play and don't like the PS+ games offered (which sounds like your situation) then don't subscribe, problem solved.

If you do use online play but don't like the PS+ games, that's unfortunate, but giving up the online play on the £50 games you buy just because you don't like the freebies seems like cutting off your nose to spite your face.

I couldn't care less about online so as soon as the games stop appealing to me I'm out, but I suppose I'm lucky in that I like the variety of indie games they offer.

To be honest I'd never heard of any of the PS4 / Vita games this month. I'm looking forward to giving them a try though. Especially after reading some of the excitement in here.

I wish you could choose not to download anything and get 5 euro store credit or something.
So, 5 euros credit x 12 months (if you choose not to download anything for a year) = 60 euros.
A PS+ yearly subscription = 50 euros.
Yeh, that'd work out for Sony...

Really solid month.

Wish Armello won instead of Grow Home though. Shrug.

Same here, but I am ok with the rest of the month (and grow home will be fine for one run).

What was Xeodrift again? Heard its good, but atm I have no Idea what kind of game it is (and neogaf is the only gaming site I can visit at the moment)

Or any AAA after almost 2 years.
They couldn't give us Killzone by now?

Even MS gave AC4.

Sounds like you just want big name games regardless of quality. Killzone SF is utter shite. Wouldn't you rather something that has an ounce of quality even if it is an indie game?

An AAA title every few months would be fine, but for me I still prefer the Indies that are free at release (afaik three only in this month)

Great month. I already have Teslagrad (lovely game btw) and i'm not interested in Twisted Metal, but the rest seems worth checking out.

Good lord.

Ya it's a pretty awesome game! Loved it on 3DS.

Is STFU the fun looking platformer where I can play as Yoshida-San?

That game fell off my radar and I'd be ecstatic to play it especially on vita.

Oh no, someone expressed slight displeasure in a manner that affects you in no way whatsoever. Batten down the hatches!

Lol, are you serious dude? I was commenting about the fact that PS+ threads of full of "this month is great!" and "this month sucks!"

Two back to back posts just like that and I thought it was funny.

I don't care if people are pleased or displeased, and I'm not sure what you were trying to accomplish with this post other than being kind of a schmuck.

+1 Ignore list.

Nothing that even slightly interests me this month (even across all 3 platforms) but that's ok because the previous months were comparatively quite good for me.

Decent lineup, but it's a little disappointing a lot of months end up being a bunch of games I already own on Steam.

The "why can't I hold all these games" meme has never been more appropriate.

I've been a PS+ subscriber for only 3 months now and I'm already overwhelmed. I haven't even touched half of them.

I bought La Mulana on a whim when it was on sale just the other week. Guess I can't be too annoyed with <$10 lost, but ouch.

The best months of PSPLUS are the ones where you don't know most of the games. That's how you get the gems. That's how it was on PS3 as well.

I would take anything available this month over killzone. I can't believe how thirsty people are for mediocrity like KZ and Knack. If you want those games that badly I'm sure you could have gotten them super cheap by now to see firsthand how dull they are without wasting a Plus spot for everyone else.

Killzone was on japanese subscription and it's pretty, but damn awful gameplay-wise. Dunno about Knack though.

This is exactly what I want from PS+, new games to try that I might not have bought otherwise. I don't want the big AAA games, I've probably already played them.

Are we going to get (old) AAA titles eventually? Not that I dislike indie games, but the lack of diversity of disappointing.

There have been two/three so far.

Injustice, Ground Zero and First Light.

I'll never get people obsession with these titles for Plus, like you said these titles are mediocre and if you want them so badly you would have gotten them during a sale. Heck its like 10 bucks at gamestop.

Agreed, most of the retail titles offered (on both PSN+ and GWG) I already played and wouldn't want to go back too, I like when they offer indie games becuase most of the time I've never played them. With the PSN+ voting now I became aware of two games I've never heard of before, once they get there PSN+ discount I'm buying them.

Hell I've had more fun with RL then nearly every retail title this year.
