I didn't like it at first either when it was free on XBL a few months back, but it's one of those games where the mechanics have to grow on you. I stuck with it, learned how to use the mechanic efficiently, and ended up finishing the game, which is a rarity these days. I enjoyed it in the end.

I voted for Grow Home because it was the one I wanted to play the most.
It seems they made the squares for content even bigger, and put less of each in each section. I cliked on 3 different squares named "free games" and none of them took me to the PS+ free games list part. The sections, from the text menu on the left, when you log in, are also differently named, and they were able to make them even more confusing.

It is but when I voted I just assumed grow home was the only 3d one.

See what you people did? We could've gotten Armello for free, and then people that wanted Grow Home would only have to pay $5.59. Now we get Grow Home for free, and people that wanted Armello need to pay $13.99. At least it wasn't Zombie Vikings.

It's funny how they always hide 2 of the 4 free PS+ games on PS4 every month. The average person wouldn't know Teslagrad and Xeodrifter are free on PS4.

Oh my, the robot from Grow Home moves worse than Niko from GTAIV, now that a feat.
And for some strange reason Xeodrifter is not full screen. I already set up the display area on settings but it doesn't work of that game.

So dissappoined grow home actually won. Man, a short ass game with no platinum vs the other two options that has at least multiplayer included, a platinum, and some lengthly life to it. Damn, this is so wack, haha.

People should be complaining about Grow Home and not because one game is more expensive than the other or that one supposededly offers more gameplay or whatever.
The game is fucking borked on the PS4. It freezes up for 5-10 seconds at a time at random intervals making it almost impossible to play, the screen tearing is beyond distracting (and I normally don't notice this kind of stuff in games), and the framerate is all over the place.
This thing desperately needs a patch. Not ready for primetime.

Voted for Grow Home. Immediately was disappointed when it called the X button by the wrong name and that feeling only got worse when I felt the slippery ass controls. Makes the PS4 sound like its about to explode too.

I beat like three bosses in Xeodrifter so far. It's simple and the bosses are kind of repetitive, but overall it's fun. I like the art style and the music a lot and the controls are tight.
I haven't seen a single freeze like that.
The issue you're experiencing sounds like what happened in Black Flag whenever my PS4/router had trouble connecting to Uplay. Maybe try playing offline for now?

haha all the Grow Home hate is getting out of hand. I also haven't noticed any screen tearing on my end, though I'm sure it's there as some of you say and perhaps it's just this IPA that's smoothing things along. BUD's bumbling controls can be a nightmare if you're expecting precision but once you get over the fear of death (barring the occasional long climb back up if you haven't unlocked a teleporter), who cares? Fucking dive bomb off a cliff with sheep and let the gods sort you both out. This game is chill and charming and I still got 30% off the game I voted for (Zombie Vikings).

I hope all the whiners saying that a game with "zombie" in the title was bound to win are enjoying their boring tech demo game with awful controls and hideous graphics.
What a waste. I fully admit I wasn't very high on Grow Home just from watching the videos but somehow it's even worse after actually trying it. I guess I'm just not seeing, or can't appreciate, whatever it is people like about this.

Seems pretty good. A bit disappointing that Grow Home got the nod (although I'll still check it out), but really excited to play Teslagrad as I skipped that when it came out. The other games look decent as well.

avatar quote aside, I dunno... It's.. relaxing? And fun flying/falling about. Depending if you're going from trophies or not it can be as easy or difficult as you'd like. Ultimately, for me it's a nice change of pace from everything else I've been playing; I didn't vote for it, mind you, but I'm certainly not in the hate camp and am glad I could purchase the game I did vote for (ZV) as opposed to have my access tied to my PS+ sub.

Zombie Vikings would've been the best of the bunch. It's from the creators of Stick it to the Man, which was an awesome game. And Zombie Vikings has a 10-hour story which would have been nice.

There is NOTHING hideous about Zombie Vikings. Seriously. Great, funny writing. Cool graphics style. 10 hour story. Fun combat.

That was the selling point for me. I really enjoyed Stick It. The humor reminded me of old school LucasArts games.

Teslagrad has only trophies for getting the 36 collectibles, most of which are easy to find.If you follow a guide like I did, you can 100% it in a couple of hours.
