Well hello there.

Good friend.
Fixed.

But yeah, where did those come from? A time anomaly? I'd get that but I need the Wifi for online and like Gary said it's an extra $50 for more capability.

Yeah good find if you like ass rape. That is a rip off.

LOL

They should have dropped it to $399 then it would have been on par with 360's price but had more features. I'm not sue if this is Sony pricing or Gamestop clearing stock.

Still some ps3 20gb leftovers?
yep, i mentioned that afte the pricedrop was announced, gamestop.com still had 20GB units available... they took down the order page for them on the monday afternoon after the pricedrop.

WTF, what's the point of that? Spend the extra $50 and get the card readers, wifi, 60gb HDD, etc.

But if you don't need any of that, you might as well put that $50 toward games and accessories you do need.

yes it should

The funny thing is, that I could have bought a Wii yesterday for the retail price but the store didn't have the 2 games that I wanted so I didn't buy it :(

This isn't really a good deal. I mean, you can pay like $50 to get the much superior version...

If thats the case, why are people buying Premium 360's and not elites? I've seen a couple of instances where this has happen.

Some stores having left over inventory of a discontinued SKU sold at a discount is not something anyone should be celebrating as a sign of a 'new' low price.

He such "much superior," not "barely superior."

They must have raised it, because last week many Gamestop stores had them for $400 new. It's a lot easier to find them for $370 used.

For an extra $100 off, I'd say the 20GB is by far the better deal. Real men use wired networks (the PS3 wireless isn't that great anyway), and I think I've used the card reader twice. Save that cash for a fat HDD upgrade down the road. For $50, it gets more questionable.

That's what I thought. I used the link at CAG to check last week and it was definitely for 399.99 new. Back then there were a couple stores 90 miles away that had some. Zero left now.

Unfortunately a refurb PS3 is more failure-proof than a brand-new 360

Unfortunately the Xbox 360 has nothing to do with this thread.

Can we stop idiots from posting stuff like this, please?

kinda seems like a ripoff at that price. i have a 20gb and at a $100 less it was worth it to me. but by paying $50 more you can get the extra goodies and harddrive space...just seems like a ripoff.

Game Rush (Blockbuster) has them for $399 if you can find one in stock. Don't go based on the boxes on the shelf, they typically only have the empty box out for 60GB even if they have a new 20GB or two in the back.
