PS3 skins - anyone have one?

Can't believe I'm doing this since I never thought I would want to ruin the look of my PS3 with a huge sticker over the top, but after watching this, I'm quite tempted

thats my favourite skin so far, which you can buy from DecalGirl. Ideally, I'm going to create my own skin, something baller - chains, rims, guns, bullets, jewels (not a troll, I think it'd look amazing :lol ) using the DecalGirl templates. So, help with HUGE source images is appreciated. I know a lot of you will think they look tacky and say "why would I ruin my PS3?" But eh, some of them can look half decent like this -

Does anyone here have a custom skin on their PS3? Or want to? Y'know, so I don't feel left out :(

does any one actually know where to get PS3 faceplates? my ps3 has lots of little hairline scratches on the back and its pissing me off.

or any items that WILL remove them?
 
Just write "FEMALE REPELLENT" on it with a silver paint pen, it'll cost less and you'll be able to write on other things with the pen later if you so desire.

Decalgirl sells faceplates, too.
I'd buy some replacement PSP buttons, too, but then I'll have to re-order the UFighterX mod... oh well.
 
You can't just throw a face plate on a console that wasn't designed with that in mind. Anyway, those skins are ugly, and covering ugly with ugly doesn't mak eit look any better, just uglier, like a fat girl in a Coogi sweater...

Did this real fast, but I wish someone would get licences to do actual games. I would think about at a Tekken, God of War or Twisted Metal clown one, easy.
 
The last time I put a sticker on a console was when I put a sticker on my NES that said: 'My other console is an Amstrad GX4000'.

I thought it was funny. At the time.

I don't think these are stickers. They use some kind of plastic that sticks but doesn't have or leave any residue at all. You can easily remove & re-apply them.

I'll have you know mine was a proper sticker for consoles that came with a magazine - but it did leave boatloads of residue when I pulled it off after a couple of months.

I would hope that 20 years later console sticker technology has advanced somewhat.
 
Last time I put a sticker on any of my systems was when they had those Nintendo stickers that came with Kool-Aid Bursts. I regret putting them on my SNES, because they started to peel and getting off all that gunk was a bitch.

I stuffed up my NES a bit when I was getting the crap off from the sticker. Used some solvent which reacted somewhat poorly with the red lettering...

I suspect I was devastated at the time, but it was only a couple of letters that got a bit smudged thankfully.

...and yes, I am still bitter about watching that whole thing. :lol

I threw all those away and stocked up on wolf shirts to get in touch with my Native American heritage. From now on call me Moon Gazer.

I will be buying the silk button-up with flames and an 8-ball skin for the top and the JNCO jeans skin for the lower half.
