PS3 to pick up 360 Title - Speculate away.

hope it is mass effect 1 and 2. ps3 need more rpgs but boring reality tell me is gta4 expansions which makes a nice ripple for PR but no real gamers will care about it or some boring capcom or namce ports, or maybe left 4 dead, but the performance will be shit and that irritating ms fanboy gabe newell will laugh his way to the bank.

By the end of year? Mass Effect & L4D?
So 360 is getting the sequel while PS3 getting the original? That's not right.

I would say L4D2 though. That would be great for the PS3.
 
I still think ME is coming over. It explains perfectly why ME2 was pushed back to 2010 despite everyone thinking it'd hit this holiday season. They want time to get the first out the door before making the sequel multiplat.

Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if I was dead wrong on that. I thought MGS4 for 360 was a given at E3 this year. =/

Well, you weren't completely wrong with that, a MGS for 360 was shown at E3 this year, just not MGS4.

Pretty much. Considering that the dude obviously has a PC and L4D has very light requirements for the PC, I don't know why he is waiting for the game to come onto the PS3 if he wants it so badly.

If its due to launch before the end of the year then I can't see it being a retail title, but more likely a downloadable one. Braid, Castle Crashers, maybe even Geometry Wars.

Nice to see Mass Effect come over (didn't get to spend enough time with it on 360, although it seemed quite good from what I played). But hey, I guess that's only a matter of time anyways right.

Umm... I own a 360 as well. What I meant by my post is that L4D is the only 360 game that i passionately play and since this is a "speculate away" thread, I'm just "speculating" a PS3 port. Again, I like my 360 exclusives on 360. If there is a 360 exclusive that will make me buy it instantly for both consoles, it'll be L4D. I just want to experience it with my PS3-owning GAFfers like Kittonwy, CJ, AJ, Lyulf, etc etc etc! :)

I'd Say GTA IV Stories ( stand alone Lost and Damned / Balad of Gay Tony )

L4D woudl make no sense.

Mass Effect 1 or 2 are NOT scheduled to be released on PS3 till at least second half of next year ( As in it not in the fiscalplanning nor even announced )

Another one could be Star Ocan IV, which would make sense....
 
Dear or Alive Xtreme Σ2 ? I will buy it again if they remove the night/day stupid cycle and just let me play what I want without that like any sane mini games game .


also SEGA should put ChromeHhounds or Condemned: Criminal Origins on PS3 .

Lost planet didn't sell at all on PS3 , late port of Dead Rising won't do better , especially now after DR Wii .

L4D2 is 360 exclusive , so they will put L4D for PS3 after releasing the on Xbox360 ? that will be stupid and waste of everybody's time.

I agree with Rayne.S , Star Ocean make sense

poor Japanese PS3 owners are hungry for some JRPGs , even shit like WKC did like 350K in Japan , there is no famous brand name JRPG on PS3 yet , so even if it's late port it can do well in Japan .
 
I seriously doubt that it will be one of the Xbox's "big guns" I agree with those speculating that it will be a XBLA game such as Geometry wars or Braid.
 
Looking through IGN's release calendar for the PS3 I see Two Worlds listed but I highly doubt that's the game hinted at. I mean clearly they said 360 favorite :lol . In regards to L4D2 isn't it listed for the PS3 as well on the site?

Both Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2 PS3 versions were oficially confirmed.

I think both Braid, L4D2 and Mass Effect 2 will be in PS3. A bit late, but at least...

The voice was removed as soon as the whole Internet realized PS3 was listed.
 
I think people need to get a grip on the size of my site and get a little perspective, we’re just a little fansite with a nice exclusive… We appreciate the guesses and links, but come on, people, be realistic – this isn’t some mad rumour or something from a ‘mole’, but the title in question is something we think PS3 gamers will be interested in.

I just think people need to realise that a site like ours wouldn't get an exclusive on the scale that most are shouting for. It's still really cool, but not earthshattering like this thread is making it out.

The E3 trailer said Left 4 Dead 2 was coming exclusively to PC and Xbox in November. And Valve repeatedly keep saying that they're not doing PS3 development right now and that they don't want anyone else to handle a port, so that rules out Left 4 Dead 1. It might make sense in the future but the OP clearly says it's coming at the end of this year.

Edit - Braid is a great game, quit your whining if that's what it is :/

At this very point if it is Dead Rising PSN it's worth throwing a party, anything else is going to be a disappont-a-ton.

Who cares about those, really. It's like whining about Trine not coming (not right now at least) on XBLA. Both those games are on PC, both can be run quite easily.

Huh? The moment they put "popular" in the article they wanted to hype it up on purpose, because as much as it can sell, an XBLA does not really fall into the "popular" category, unless by that you mean "popular on the Internet".

It's not just GAF, sadly. It's difficult to see how these things will end up, especially when you're away from a computer all weekend.

We can speculate wildly about games coming to the PS3, no probs, but the minute we get a nice exclusive and everyone starts calling us 'lame'. Not nice, but hey, them's the breaks.
