PS4 Advertising Campaign Is The Biggest In Sony's History

I'm enjoying all the adverts:

The Taco Bell one made me go and get some TB even though I have a launch ps4 preordered...I always wanted some TB and Doritos loco, and this just pushed me over the edge.

Plus I really enjoy the commercial. Has some humor to it.

The Perfect Day one is a little annoying in the beginning..off key, but then the hook kicks in and its amazing. Great sense of bromance. Reminds me of playing Warhawk with my friend and flying upside to kill him why "Distance" (jpop song used during one of Naruto's many intros) "You are my friend...whooooa"...perfect timing with the missiles.

I've also had the Perfect day song stuck in my head for a few days now.

This one from EU today though..it put me in my feels. It definitely put me in my feels. Getting a Playstation first week of December..wanting to play so bad, but my parents said not until christmas. Me and my brother would sneak in sessions of Street Fighter Alpha when they were asleep..then, a week before Christmas, they said "go ahead and play it"...the start of it all.

This is gonna be a great launch.

I've been seeing tons of PS4 commercials on TV. They're actually pretty good, which is surprising considering Sony's awful baby ads for the PS3

Everyone who was involved with the early PS3 ads is now 10 feet under.

Soo many feels from from the 'For The Players Since 1995' ad, absolutely love it.

Do we know what the PS4 start-up jingle is now?

yea its that "Whoomp" sound that they have been using in commercials since the PS2 era. Disappointing honestly I was hoping for either a new jingle or a return to the original PS1 start up.

Playstation 4 |OT| ('-') .o0 (4 >1)
Playstation 4 |OT| We go home.. it gets dark
Playstation 4 |OT| Greatness awaits 4 no man

Sony better be investing in advertising like never before. They have a perfect system on their hands. They can bury Nintendo and Microsoft for this generation if they handle it right.

That's not entirely true.

You know you have designed a clusterfu@#$ of a console when this has to figure in to your marketing material.
