PS4 - How do leave a group message/conversation?

I got sent a message today along with 50 other people. I've deleted the message from my messages but anytime someone replies I get a notification and the message is back?

How do I leave the conversation once and for all? Am I missing something?

Try as others have said, but something is up with the system. Sometimes you'll delete it and then it will add you right back in when someone replies to the group. It annoyed the shit our of me at Driveclub launch.

If you're on ps4 you can delete it I think, if you're on your mobile device using psn app, than I don't there's anyway to delete it, lol. Annoy me a bit when someone decide to post a message to all his friendlist(100s of them) around driveclub launch.

I was about to sleep at the time and the constant notification made me wake up, turn on ps4 and delete the message group from there because couldn't find how to do it from phone.

I had this problem too, solved it by finding the person in the group that was on my friendslist. Once that happend I deleted him and bam, never had the issues again lol.
They need to fix that though, should not be so difficult.

I usually delete from PS4 and don't get any further messages. The most annoying thing is 'you've received a new message' for someone leaving the conversation.

you don't understand man

you just can't kill the beast

Was beginning to think nobody was gonna get that :)

On topic: I can confirm that deleting the message on PS4 removed me from the group. If there's a bug, I haven't experienced it though.

I see other people in the message have 'left the conversation', I wonder how they do that? I'm experiencing this too, really annoying. I don't even know who the guy is who started it. -_-

No you are stuck in that shitty group forever

Or until Sony wake the fuck up and fix it

I should add that I've used the mobile app and deleted the convo, but I still get stuff. I'll try on the PS4 itself.

You CAN DELETE messages from the mobile app.
From the main messages screen, PRESS AND HOLD on any message.

Delete or Cancel will be an option.
Choose Delete.

I done this the other day. My friend needed Driveclub friends so I thought it would be a good idea to message all my own DC friends. I didn't realise it would start up a group chat. Anyway I apologised and quickly left the convo lol

Also you can only send messages to 100 friends at a time

Options -> Delete

This. Highlight the main message then option/delete

Ummm you can just delete the message.

Guys, the second post in this thread has to answer you're all looking for.

As mentioned, you just delete the message and you're out. Simple.

I'm amazed so many people don't know this.
Read the op. The problem is that after you delete it, you're brought back into the conversation thread every time someone else replies or leaves. Visually the message will be gone will you delete it, but the servers think your still in it.

Shouldn't happen unless you're in the same conversation on maybe a Vita or something also.

This is annoying, I had some idiot sending a chain letter, and even after I'd blocked him people kept replying to it with all the replies turning up in my inbox. My solution was to block a bunch of other people but that's not very helpful.

I just remove the message creator from my friend list if it's not related to a game I am playing with them (Destiny raid, Diablo 3).

And I think you can leave the group via Vita, I think I did that before. Deleting does nothing.
