Basically they can build their entire message around this unlike the Pro if they can pull it off.

i agree with this, they could totally call it Xbox 4k, because native 4k would be the defining feature of the console.

There's not going to be "numerical" iterations of the Xbox platform going forward, imho. This time around they could go with "Xbox 4k", and going forward they might just say Xbox (20xx model)

but "plus", in general is used as an indicator of size ('plus sized'), as opposed to "mini" or "S"
Sony had the right idea with "pro", but since we're not talking about productivity devices, that's a complete misnomer.
