[PS4/NS] Ninja Gaiden Trilogy listed by largest Hong Kong distributor

I always has been interested to play those games. Im surprised, they has been announcing more new games and remasters for current gen than next gen. Sometimes I think I shouldn't upgrade my Pro until late 2022 or 2023

What makes the Sigma versions inferior actually?
Not much really for 1 at least is practically the same with the difficulty being slightly less.
2 however is much worse the gore is turned down to kiddy levels and the amount of enemies on screen is less (but they're smarter though) still an amazing game with a super deep combat system. Why couldn't they port it to pc?

Being the Sigma versions, they're not worth a whole lot to me.

I'll probably still pick it up if it's cheap, but they're inferior versions.

Amazing news. One of my favourite Series.....Go broke on the PS5 version Tecmo....

What makes the Sigma versions inferior actually?
Nothing really, some more blood and decapitations in the other versions, some more enemies in Ninja Gaiden 2, but with more content in Sigma and less off screen projectile spam made the game more balanced.

Since this will be a remake/remaster, I expect all the decaps and blood will be back, they were already back in the Vita versions of the Sigmas.......That 4k 60fps will be glorious.....on PS5, maybe some reflection RT too....

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a fine version of Ninja Gaiden. Black is still better, but Sigma has more Rachel, so that's a point in it's favor. Also, you can play it just fine on PC at 4k 60fps now.

Still, if this collection comes out for PC, I will buy it day one.

Yeah ok good news, but where is my OTHER NINJA GAIDEN TRILOGY collection (the one and only 2d classic)

That is what I'm expecting, come on baby give it to me.

This is great news. Ninja Gaiden is one of my favorite series.

That said, I need some incentive. Anything reasonable. 4k/60fps, gore re-implented, etc.
Give me something that isn't a completely bare bones package and I'll buy both physical and digital. Otherwise, I'm out.

I'm happy with this. I've been replaying the series on emulators but it'll be nice to just have the whole thing. Hopefully it'll come to PC as well.

In for switch though as of right now.

Awesome News !! NG it's my favorite series 👍👍 I'll get the Switch version because i wanna relive them ON THE GO !

Day 0 for me.

I like more Black and 2 because I dont liked play with Rachel in sigma and dont liked The adjustments of sigma 2.

Im ok with puple fog, but, i think, they will remove this on remaster cause they removed this in psvita version

What I dont like is the game balance... They removed enemies, but add much more 1 hit kill Plus some enemies you cant obliterate, like Black Van gelfs.

Other thing is they way you upgrade weapons. In sigma 2, you have some restrictions. I dont remenber well, but theres some restrictions and I didnt like this

But, surely I will play this remaster, i just love this series

Pity it is the Sigma versions. Either way, if they release on PC it is an easy buy from me.

I'm a huge fan of Sigma 2. To me is top 3 best character action games ever, but I never played the original NG2 to compare. Judging by videos only, the original seems to have a lot of pros indeed.

Sigma 1 is such a huge downgrade. Sigma 2 was better, in that it did improve some aspects of the game, but they're both pale imitations.

Makes sense as XBOX has the definitive version running 4k 60fps on XBL. A collection would be meaningless.

The only reason the first Sigma game was not as good is because it was running on the PS3 and had some performance issues and yes a few less enemies in a few areas but not really that much to detract from the main game or make it easier.

Sigma is basically an upscaled version of black with a few changes. The Rachel missions being one which some people like and others don't. Plus it added the special test your skills in a few mini games with the collectors edition.

Now the Sigma 2 is a different story altogether. They removed blood and made other changes which makes that version a very inferior version. Regardless, I still enjoy the game for what it's worth but not as much as the first. Maybe they will add blood back to 2?

Never played 3 as it looked horrible.

I am hoping the PS4 release is maybe a prelude to a PC release but regardless, I will boot up my base PS4 to play these game again! I love them.

Shhhh...don't use logic and reasoning here. You'll just upset folks. :)

And yeah, Ninja Gaiden was one of the first original XBox titles I picked up digitally for my XBO:X when it came available. Still a great game...with a shitty camera.

I'm glad there are options but I guess Xbox BC is still the best way to experience NG, right?

NGB is one of the few OG discs I still have.

In the odd chance of reviving the franchise, the modern Ninja Gaiden games could stand for a brand unification by making the Xbox's NG1 (or black) & 2 available on multiple platforms, while allowing the derivative iterations to be forgotten. Assuming this collection does become a reality, it would be disappointing, more so if they happened to be bare-bones ports, as notably better versions of the games would exist through backwards compatibility on the Xbox.

Even the Sigma versions at this stage, I prefer faster action games... also need the trophies because I played NG games on XBox back in the day but never the sigma ones.

im mediocre at action games, but i love them...i haven't played any of the 3D njnja gaidens...i think an xbox demo maybe

im in...does anyone know if the switch version all fits on a playable day 1 cart? I like physical copies of complete products...otherwise I'll just get the digital

Wasn't Sigma 1080p anyway?
Edit, nope 720

Great news if true. Hopefully, this leads to NG4. We need more high quality hack and slashes on the market and the Ninja Gaiden series is arguably as good as it gets gameplay-wise. Sure, it's a remaster or whatever, but better than nothing.
