PS4 owners: would you have bought TitanFall?

Don't think so, I can see from the reviews and some impressions after release that it doesn't have enough modes to keep me playing for a long time like COD has in the past.

Oh, absolutely. For now, though, I'm just placing my bets on the 360 version being good. If it isn't, I'll pass.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Of course in two weeks there's also a strong chance that by that point the hype will be gone and I won't be as interested in buying an arena shooter. So I guess we'll see.

Without a doubt. Game looks amazingly fun. If I had a gaming PC I'd be buying it on that, but until then, I can dream of the day I get a XBO for that and Dead Rising 3.

I'd probably be on the fence until a price drop. I don't do enough online MP that paying $60 would be justifiable (to me) without an offline MP offering in the package. For strictly online MP, I'd be more likely to purchase @ $40 or below.

not after playing the beta, no. i have an xbox one anyway (as well as a ps4) and do not plan on getting it. the on-foot parts felt average to me and the titan combat was confusing and unclear. i was never sure what exactly was going on or if i was damaging the other titans. the game does a poor job of providing proper feedback in my opinion.

There are a number of things I dislike about this game so I am inclined to say no. The biggest problem for me is that it's a multiplayer-only game, and I'm no longer interested in competitive play even though I do sometimes dabble in Call of Duty multiplayer. I really would have liked a single player campaign.

Specifically regarding multiplayer, I really dislike bots as filler players, and 6v6 max is really disappointing. For the record, I also dislike high player counts; 8-10 players per team is a good number.

But I do appreciate its double jump and parkour features. It sorta reminds me of my days with UT99 that were thoroughly enjoyable. Everything else, however, is lackluster for me.

So no, I wouldn't buy this game in its current state.

I definitely would have. Considering getting the 360 version after seeing how it fares. Hopefully the next one comes out on PS4 as well, if all works out.

Probably. But like with all FPS MP games I'd lose interest after a month or two.

Only online MP shooter that ever held my interest for copious amounts of time was SOCOM 2 and (to a much lesser extent) Call of Duty 4.

Probably, but after a price drop or if friends circled their wagons around it(likely). Not an online competitive player really and I chose BF4 for similar reasons but have barely sunk time into the MP side despite completing every campaign achievement and unlockable.

Seems like a good time though for the experience it provides, but I can also see myself fizzling out even during the initial honeymoon period. Besides with Dark Souls available today as well, I doubt I would be putting any real commitment into the game for a good period anyway.

Probably and i would have played it for a couple of months then never touched it again like i do with every other FPS multiplayer game i buy.

Absolutely. Buying it on PC instead, probably will play with a DS4.

You and me both. Don't have a xbone or a PC so if the 360 version is shit then see you guys on titanfall 2.

Oh yeah, forgot about this. I tend to lose hype pretty quickly after a release so that's true too.

No, I would not have. I also wont be getting it on PC either. I am an open world RPG'er, not a competitive FPS'er...I also never liked COD or BF. So my vote doesnt even really count.

Right now? No.

Same reason I am not buying the PC version - I don't value multiplayer only games that highly.

Not 100% sure since its hard for me to pay full $60 with just a multiplayer component, but it is definitely possible. The game looks fun.

Definitely, if it wasn't the same week as Dark Souls 2.

As it is, I'm pretty sure I'm going to only be obsessively playing that for a while. But a few weeks earlier? Absolutely. Looks like fun.

Yeah, I wouldn't be in any rush but would have picked it up on a $30 sale or something. Regardless of platform I'm never going to spend $60 on a multi-only EA game.
