PS4 owners: would you have bought TitanFall?

I would have bought titanfall on PS4 as it would have been a nice addition to my lacking PS4 library. But it didn't come out that way, so I got it for PC.

I got the PC version because there is no PS4 version.

I would have preferred to get the PS4 version, yes. I would have absolutely bought it for the PS4.

If Titanfall 2 comes out for the PS4, I will buy it DAY ONE. Even if my PC is more powerful, I'd rather play it on a console with the DS4.

I prefer BF4 on the PS4 too. I just like the controller better than KB/M. Call me crazy, but I do.

I bought the TF bundle for it. Now my setup is complete!!! paid $100 after trading in a bunch of old iPods and games. It is a very great game, and the X1 is a cool platform to play on.

Will play it on PC but would have preferred to have played it with my friends on the PS4.

Played the beta on PC with the DS4 and it worked fine and I didn't feel like I was at a disadvantage using the controller. I'm sure if it was a different shooter i would have gotten my ass handed to me

Nope (don't have a PS4 yet, but will get one). I'm not interested in competitive MP games so it just doesn't appeal to me.

I was initially interested in it, the more information that got released though, my interest waned and waned until now, I couldn't care less about it.
No single player is a gigantic negative for me, I'm greatly underwhelmed by it's graphics and I just don't think it's bringing much, if any, innovation to the table. To be honest, with the pedigree Respawn have, I expected much more.
I do think the next game will be a big step in the right direction though.

Those triggers are still as mushy as a valentine's day card.

I disagree, I think it's the best controller I've ever used for shooters, the sticks are so precise, I love it. I like the triggers too, but if possible, I switch to L1 and R1 for aiming and shooting.

Probably, but I'm not kicking and screaming for it. I can hold out for the inevitable sequel.

If anything, I'll add it to the list of things to convince myself to finally replace my ancient PC.

Would have waited for a price drop probably.

Game looks a ton of fun but I'm not sure it has enough content to hold my interest long enough to justify full price. And usually I'm average at best with online shooters.

If it had a proper campaign, I would have definitely be more interested in it

No. Just kinda burnt out on FPS I think. I could buy it for the PC ... but I don't think I'm going to. Dark Souls 2 will hold me out until Infamous and Reaper of Souls.

I guess you were not in the conversation int he giantbomb frame rate thread? The game was rushed to meet launch window, they're using dx9 based engine on OS that support Direct X11.2 and on.

The Xbone is very under-powered and has issues with ESRAM. Part coming from someone who owns a Boxed copy of Call of Duty 4 for PC, I disagree.

They are very competent, to go from Pre-alpha build at trade shows in july and August to Beta in January and gold by end of February is not easy task with 90 people.

I chalk this up to bad driver's by MS with SKD, rushed optimization because of EA/MS need the game badly to help sell the box.

Hence also why there is not a lot of content, 5 game modes and 15 maps, that's it. Single player is a joke as I played it last night, it's basically just different modes with some radio chatter and intro.

I don't blame Respawn, I blame MS/EA for pushing the game too fast when it obviously wasn't ready.

This game was in development for a long time though iirc. And yes, content is very-very light. I'm not denying there's also probably issues with MS's sdk. But I will continue to blame Respawn because face it, it's not a looker, it's effects are lack luster, etc.

What it is though, is a fun gameplay design/feel, and that's good.

But yeah, I'm down with blaming MS and especially EA. /high5

I'm a little burnt out on first person shooters but I think Titanfall looks great so, yes, I probably would have bought it.

I would hope lots of people would have or else what reason would EA/Respawn have for putting out the sequel for PS4? It would be better for them to just keep the whole series exclusive and get the guaranteed millions.

The more PS4 (and PS3) owners that would have purchased the game, the worse EA/Respawn's decision to sell exclusivity to MS looks. I for one definitely would have bought it.

PS4 owners don't let your bitterness blind you!

As a game. Yes, but not at $60. But as a service, fostered by EA, taking into account the multitude of map packs I wouldn't buy, no. Ultimately, I would still use my gaming budget on inFamous.

i'm picking up either the PC or 360 version. i have friends on both of those platforms who are getting it, so i will, soon enough. if it came out on PS4 as well, though? i'd pick it up in a heartbeat.

Not going to front.

I would have bought it for sure, especially during this drought.

Looks like a fun game and would look better on PS4.

Still holding out hope for Titanfall 2.

I'm a PS4 owner ...

My One Titanfall bundle is on the UPS truck for delivery now.

So yeah ... had it been available on PS4, I would have bought it there, no doubt.

(Some other exclusive would have tipped the scales eventually, I expect.)

Like what? Did you really get an xbone for one game?

My care-o-meter significantly dropped when that Respawn rep posted about how his heart can't take how action packed the game is or something. It took a few hours for my eyes to return to normal after they rolled so far back into my head.

I might give it a go on PC when it significantly drops in price, will see how far they take DLC.

Yes I would. But in 2-3 months I will have enough money to buy an Xbox One and Titanfall. I like my PS4 a lot but during the summer there is not much to play until the Destiny beta. So to have Titanfall that summer will be really nice.

In a heartbeat.

Settled for PC but would rather be playing with my friends.

Thought about XB1 but I can't justify spending that much money for one game (plus another subscription) when my PS4 is barely getting used either....

Nope. I brought COD and still have not played it. I have gotten very tired of FPS. The only one i can still stand is bf because it more open map and vehicles. But it had so many issue i stop playing it.

Really the only FPS i looking forward to is Planetside 2 because i love the massive battles of MAG.

tob completely honest, no. i have killzone n bf4. i dont need another fps. im buying infamous n ground zeroes...i have room for a third person shooter/stealth game.
