PS4 Pro - Disc stuck, manual eject doesn't work

Im dead inside.
Persona 5 arrived and it seems like my disc drive on my PS4 Pro just randomly died.
I wanted to eject God Eater 2 Rage Burst and it didn't worked. Now it does make the same noise as when there is no disc inside and you press the eject button.

I turned it off, did the rebuild database stuff and also tried the manual eject thing, with the PH 00 screwdriver.

The PS4 does not show me my God Eater in the home menu anymore.

What else can I do?
I bought the Pro at Amazon on release day. Can I exchange it there?
What will happen to my God Eater disc, if I do?

Here's an odd idea, try shaking your ps4 pro vertically. Sometimes this happens to me on my regular ps4 and shaking it while holding it vertically seems to work for me.

i can't speak for the Pro, but on regular PS4, with the eject screw, you have to turn it a ton before it comes out.

When i did it, i was certain it wasn't working, but just kept turning and turning and it comes out little by little.

It tried it for more than 15 minutes.

Huh. Got my Pro for Horizon and it looks like I incorrectly assumed Sony would have fixed this issue with the Pro. My OG PS4 still has this problem, it will randomly eject the disc.

Hope you can get it fixed dude.

Can you see the disc in the drive at all? If it's close enough to the opening you might be able to take some needle nose pliers and wrap some tape around the end and gently try and pull it out. If it's not showing up on the PS4 menu and the eject button doesn't work it would seem that it's maybe stuck, the PS4 considers it ejected so it might not be held on by the disc drive anymore and might just come out with a little bit of help from the pliers.

Holy shit, shaking it and pressing the eject button again and again like a maniac, afterwards, finally worked.

Don't know if the shaking did the job, but it was the only thing I didn't tried before.

Thanks to everyone who was trying to help.
Finally Persona 5 time, after many hours of desperation!

You're a brave person to put another disk in there!

I did put in The Order, just to go sure it won't to damage to my disc. Wouldn't hurt to much, if this game was destroyed :)

But it seems fine for now.
I really hope it was a rare case of something.

Reminds me of the days you would slap an old CRT on its side to improve the picture, lol.

Lol, yeah. I'm not a fan of shaking or slapping my electronic devices. But looks like it "works".. sometimes... somehow.

Boy did I read the title wrong.

But anyway, I'd advise against shaking it, try seeing if support recommends any methods before you do anything that could damage it.

That sucks, have you tried ejecting the game from the PS4 dashboard?

EDIT: Just saw that you managed to get the game out, woo!
