PSN Comic Book Store - How's it holding up?

I love comics, my brother had a collection of 1000+ comics (Marvel, DC, Imagine) and I think I've read them all a load of times.

Now, since we live in different houses, I'm build up my collection. Thing is, it gets hard to find some of the older books.

Of course I love to have a physical copy of what I'm reading, but digital is also good. I bought the Silent Hill Experience for the PSP and it contains one of the comics, and I loved reading it digitally.

But I'm not going to start spending money on a support that is doomed to fail. Don't want to buy 1, 2, 3, 4, etc, comic books and then Sony stops suporting the CBS.

I'm enjoying the selections so far. Not much on the new front but some classics. No DC really hurts it in my opinion. But hopefully that'll sort itself out soon.

I prefer the reader on PSP to the one I have on my iPhone. The effort made on them is really cool. I hope it has been successful so far as it is a great application for the PSP.

I prefer it on the PSP Go as I can close screen over the buttons and use the L&R buttons to turn pages.

I've always prefered Marvel over DC by a large margin, but I also liked some of DCs sagas so it's a shame yes.

But I'm guessing it's mainly Marvel right?

Doesn't surprise me that Didio is not enthusiastic about digital comics. Marvel has been doing the best they can pushing digital comics while still respecting the brick & mortar shops.

Check the free comics on the store to see if the way they're presented looks good to you (they're not done in the exact way that something like the Silent Hill, and Metal Gear Solid digital comics on UMD were). Being Canadian, I can't actually buy any comics (or any videos, but unlike the video store, the comic store doesn't block IPs). But the selection I saw was decent, as were the prices. I also enjoyed the way auto-flow moved.

No manga at all, so if that lack of manga angers you, look elsewhere. The closest is that Astroboy American comic based off the CG movie, and the Transformers stuff.

Yea, I downloaded some freebies, Transformers, Astro Boy, etc. It's quite enjoyable and having lot's of comics on the PSP not occupying any space is great.
