Friday. It's not like they have to be in the thursday update ;3

in the pain blog comments

Okay everyone… I am sure you are all wondering WHERE’S OUR UPDATE!?

The short of it is we are experiencing some technical issues with posting the mode to the store. I am working with everyone to make this happen on TODAY. As soon as I know more… so will you. I KNOW this is frustrating and I am asking for you guys to allow me some time to “bend a few rules” The issue is not with the game code everyone. It’s actually an issue with how we tie everything together.

What I do know is that when are successful in getting this done you will have to go to the PLAYSTATION®Store to download the Fun With Explosives mode you will not be able to add this from inside the game.

You will know when the patch is live. When you boot up PAIN it will prompt you to update. So if you have made it to the main menu without the patch notification then it isn’t live on the servers yet.

It’s coming I promise. I can see the light. OH, and if you are going to threaten me at least make it funny. I need some comedy right now.

wow Jet Moto fans must be loving this. All 3 games.

Still really lacking in the PS1 classics dept. Where are the big games?????? Give us f'ing Resident Evil!!!!

I would have bought the Jet Moto titles, but I still own them on disc, so it wasn't really a buy for me :(

I would rebuy MGS1 though if it came out.

I have a PSP, so I felt fine making the purchase for 2. I'll probably get 3.

Was recommended to post this here...

JPN PSN store has a new Valkyrie of the Battlefield video up.
500mb+
~7.5min long
Features information about the 3 main components of the game:

Story Mode
Battle/BLiTZ mode
Upgrade/Development mode

Holy shit!

Is the UMD demo of God of War as bad with slowdown as the PS Store demo?

Some of the sections (particularly when entering a new area, with stuff going on) are really bad on the ol' framerate. I'm hoping that'll be fixed for the main game. Other than that, it's God of War and it rocks hard!

It felt the same. Must be from the same build back in the days. But from the reviews so far, the problems have been fixed? ;o

Is Valkyrie of the Battlefield a Blu-Ray title or a PSN Title?

Both are from old builds. Also Marcellony, I believe stated that the demo's are running at 222Mhz & not the 333Mhz (Mhz? whatever!)

Also Jim (mod) has the review copy and he stated that the game is very smooth & highly polished, in this very thread I believe.

I know and I'm confident it will be gone, but seeing as I never heard anything about this before and seeing it so vividly for myself, I got a bit scared. :(

Gaf, i was reading on a website P*U it stated the God Of War Chains of Olympus demo was out. People stated they were downloading it in the comment section as well. One person stated "i downloaded it and it didn't work on my psp is it region locked". Can somebody confirm this? Why can't i find the demo anywhere? If you need a link GAF i will give it.

just a note, the Pain board were not reset with the update. All of the 'bogus' scores are still there.

He said they're resetting the scores over the weekend I believe.

Single player explosive mode is fun. Really nice that it was free. :D

‘Bionic Commando: Rearmed’ PS3 Will Run On PSPs Thanks To Remote Play
Posted by Stephen Totilo on 2/25/08 at 11:18 am.

Bionic Commando San Francisco — “Bionic Commando: Rearmed,” a re-make of the original “Bionic Commando,” is coming to a PSP near you — but isn’t going to be released on PSP.

Say what?

Capcom producer Ben Judd told me last week that the PS3 version of “Bionic Commando: Rearmed” for the console’s PlayStation Network will be playable on PSPs using the PS3’s Remote Play feature.

Remote Play allows a PSP user to access content on their PS3 theoretically from any location where they can get a WiFi signal. The feature was implemented in limited fashion for last fall’s PS3 dragon-combat game “Lair” and then delivered in full for the PSN game “PixelJunk Monsters.”

If Capcom gets Remote Play to work properly, the game may well be one of the first to use the service well and among the first, if not the first, third-party game to use it.

The end result: “Bionic Commando: Rearmed” playable on PSPs, even without the game being released on PSP.

Like I said.

The Xbox 360 and PC versions of “Rearmed” won’t support this, obviously. Could this added feature be the differentiator between other upcoming XBLA/PSN cross-platform releases?

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Updated for PS3

If you've purchased Capcom's Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix off of the PLAYSTATION Store, you may want to boot up the game. There is a new update available that adds the following features.

– Voice Chat is now available.
– Localized for English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish languages.
- A few bugs have been fixed including lost connections in ranked games, or a disconnection upon the completion of their next ranked game.

So if you are ready to start voice chatting and get your puzzle back on, then start up the game and download that update.

Yes, yes you should, right now.

Anyway, I have a few questions to ask the PSN Types, first about Tanod's release list, why is it so sparse with the upcoming releases, it deems to lack the likes of SOCOM: Confrontation and LittleBigPlanet? Also, I was wondering if anybody here knew of list of PSN Devs, I am trying to research just whom is developing for this system.

Probably, The question is though.Does anyone still care?I would have bought it last, What was it now August or September when it was released in the US and on live arcade? They've left it too long.

This is no PSN title, well, not anymore I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

But, with the update for SPFIIHD, will it finally mean it's being released in Europe this week? Come on Capcom, tell us! :D

I guess the findings will be out on Thursday.

Speaking of Europe, did a little ratings check on the PEGI and found a whole bunch of unregistered Playstation One Games.

Well it's not like you can say it has not the novelty effect on it anymore because it probably never had it since it's an old game. Those interested will still buy it imo.

I did, it's been made public quite while now. Although I find it strange that volume 3 is still missing. But I hope some of these games, like Bust a Groove, will finally come out. Do it Sony, I need to get my Heat on! :p

The reason LBP was not mentioned is because it's not a PSN title. That's a common misconception.

SOCOM - I just haven't seen enough information as to exactly when it's coming out and I'm having a hard time keeping track of which SOCOM: *insert subtitle here* is the one that's coming out on PSN.

I some how lost my copy of this back in the day. They need to update this game so bad.

I see, so you tend to skew for most likely games to come out. I can understand that, release dates in this game are so very hard to predict, and the questions, always with the questions.

Anyway, here is game you can add.

Hot Shots!

But it will probably just be themes and a Wipeout HD trailer.

I did what I was told last week and set up a European account to get the Hot Shots demo. I haven't played a hot shots in a long time, so I don't know if it's new, but I hated the button style swing. I didn't try it with the standard stick swing, but the game does look awesome.

is the Warhawk patch supposed to be out this week? Or is it out already?
