Is the Wild Run expansion or Season Pass discounted, or just the base game?
I have not played it on PC, any friends who would co-op with me have already done so - and cannot stop screaming praises of this game.
My only computer is a MBP, so the PC version is non-starter for me.
ETA: But thank you, didn't think to check DF, I just stuck with professor Google which was coming up largely empty - except for articles about the consoles running at 30 fps to accommodate local co-op.

Anybody who skips The Talos Principle hates good games.
Walmart had it for 18$ just a couple of days ago. Also that link to Amazon is the hard copy, so you could always sell it, share it, whatever.

Just looks like the base game unfortunately. Wild Run is still ringing up at 24.99.
Ah okay, yeah that makes sense. I'd go with the cheaper version if everything else is equal.
When my friend tries to add it to his cart, the price is now without the discount :/

That Star Wars Bundle from GameDealDaily is tempting too though I remember hating Bounty Hunter when I played it on the GameCube.
I just double dipped on the Talos Principle when BestBuy had it on sale recently. It's a fantastic game but the PS4 has some really annoying frame rate issues.
I bought Galak-Z at launch and really didn't care for how the progression was structured. Jamestown+ is great and has a ton of content, can't recommend enough.

I don't think Sony gets enough credit for cross-buy. People were jerking off about xbox 360 backwards compat but nobody ever says anything about Cross-buy (Or shareplay for that matter) I have played so many games across PS3/Vita/PS4 and only paid for one copy of it (Or free off PS+).

Anyone who picked up Shadow Tower and wants to play it on a Vita with somewhat modern controls, this is how I set mine up:
Attack buttons:
L1= Square
R1=Triangle
(L1 is the left hand, R1 is the right hand)
Movement and camera:
Left thumbstick up= Pad up
Left thumbstick down= Pad down
Left thumbstick left= L1
Left thumbstick right= R1
Right thumbstick up= L2
Right thumbstick down= R2
Right thumbstick left= Pad left
Right thumbstick right= Pad right
You also have to disable the rear touchscreen (simply touch the areas that are assigned to buttons and click "do not use"
I left the other two buttons (cross and circle) as default.

Those controls didn't change much between 1 and 3. They didn't get a real revamp until AC4.

They are the PS3 versions, the PS2 Classics ones. The PS4 versions are exclusive to the Battlefront PS4 bundle for now, though codes are floating around at the moment, and they'll likely release on PSN in the next month or so.

Of course I bought Battlefront for $50 two days ago.
I nearly impulse bought it. I mean, it's Tetris, how could it go wrong? Then checked for reviews and read that the PS4 version suffers crippling slowdown. How in fuck's name is such a thing possible?

If you are playing on Vita you can remap the controls and get a pretty nice experience.
Everyone should get Jamestown....great intro for shmups

Somewhat but EA has to capitalize on the movie's hype/momentum right now. It makes perfect sense that it would go on sale this week. The game plus DLC after the 20% off coupon is a pretty good deal.
I would say yes. But I have seen so many deals on the physical copy of BF for 40$, that might be better so you can sell it if you don't like it

Value of games in general seems a lot more fluid than it was in the past, a price drop like this isn't necessary indicative of a game bombing. It's buyer beware when you buy at launch so I hope people are actually playing these games when they buy them and not just throwing them on their backlog.
Yep, the era of buying day 1 just to sit on it is over. If you pay 60 bucks on release day and you ain't poppin' that mother in as soon as you get home and cruising through it in a week or two, you're a sucker.
