Dear sony:

When the hackers came in the PSN went out.
And every online game filled up with doubt.
I don't know who you think you are,
But before the night is through,
I wanna do bad things with you.

I'm the kind to sit up in his room.
No games to play eyes filled up with blue.
I don't know what you've done to me,
But I know this much is true:
If the PSN doesn't come back up I gonna do bad things with you.

When you came in the air went out.
And all those shadows there filled up with doubt.
I don't know who you think you are,
But before the night is through,
I wanna do bad things with you.
I wanna do real bad things with you.
Ow, ooh.

I don't know what you've done to me,
But I know this much is true:
I wanna do bad things with you.
I wanna do real bad things with you.

You will meet the true death sony.

Fuck me for buying the PS3 version of Portal 2.

I feel bad for you suckers paying $60 day one for it.

Me, I paid $35 at K-mart, so I'm not too burned.
Until Gamestop and K-mart price it for $15 as this PSN downtime goes on longer and longer

Just look at the comments on the PS Blog. People aren't surprised at all by today's non-update!

Long live the DelayStation 3.

Seriously though am I giving SONY too much credit to just assume they are going to start making PSN cards more readily available once this debacle does unfuck itself. No way Im putting my credit cards back on PSN.

Honestly, Sony is completely screwed at this point. They might as well up their release of the next PlayStation and move on from this train wreck.

Its a good thing it has exclusive games that people will still want to play.

Not to discount your amazingly astute business acumen...

NO!

I just want to transfer my copy of Ogre battle from my PS3 to my PSP Go and play that.

NO!

Just give me 5 minutes of up time. That's all I need!

Uh... they've been at Best Buy, WAL-MART, Target, etc. for YEARS, where have you been?

You can't do that without the PSN being up?!

Another lonely night for Sony-GAF, let's start doing shots.

You need PSN up and running to transfer games from the PS3 to the PSPGo?

If you want to play a long game during the wait, play Star Ocean 4. That's 70 hours for completion, 300 hours for platinum.

or you can play FFXIII, 35 hours completing, 100 hours for platinum. :P

Funny thing is that PSN cards weren't available for months and months after the PS3 launched. So pretty much all launch owners who wanted to buy something off PSN had to use their credit cards to buy stuff. And now this is what they get in return. That and YLOD. lol.

That's it man, game over man, game over! What the fuck are we gonna do now? What are we gonna do?!

Sony is like one of those guys that treats his girlfriend like shit, but she stands by him because she has been conditioned to expect it. He beats her, but when he apologizes she really believes he is honestly sorry. When somebody else makes a negative comment about him, she lashes out, because she thinks that nobody understands him. When he does something remotely human, she thinks he is the best boyfriend in the world.

Sounds more like MS and 360 rrod fiasco to me.

But meh! Really.
To think I ordered Portal 2 for PS3 from Amazon on May 4th with free shipping to Puerto Rico, thinking it was going to be here around next week (or later), so PSN would be up by then to link it to Steam.

And according to Amazon, the package arrived at PR today May 6th, so it may be here...tomorrow. :/

Oh well, at least single should be nice..and the friend that I'll be playing with, and has the game on PC already finished single and said he won't be playing with me till I finish single player. Though I'll probably finish single player before PSN is back too... :p

I don't think we'll ever find out.

Why wouldn't we find out? We just compare sales data from when PSN was up to when PSN is down.

EDIT: For the PS3 hardware, I mean. :P

Yeah, I feel bad for those people. But you know what I did? I didn't buy shit off PSN until I knew and confirmed PSN cards were in my area.

And they are readily available on Amazon.com and Gamestop as well.

That's true.

and MvC3, all great games.

>He thinks playing MvC3 in Arcade Mode for hours and shitty online (OH WAIT THERE IS NO ONLINE RIGHT NOW LOLOLOL) is a good game!
>LaughingGirls.jpg

(I'm still bitter about no replay or Spectator or Jill Day 1. Sorry.)

Like I said though: Just Cause 2. It's like $20 or so at Gamestop. It gets a bit repetitive, sure, but you can easily sink hours into doing stunts and killing yourself while blowing shit up in it. So good.

I'd totally get Nier for $10 if I knew Toys 'R Us near me had it. But with TrU.com not listing it, I'm not going to travel across town for a "niche" game that I may/may not get burned on for $10.

After reading their last update. Cant they just come out and say that its not coming back this week instead of trying to talk around the issue with bullshit.

The fuck.

At least they are testing the security this time. I'm sure they are taking extra precautions because they fear hackers will try to attack their system again as soon as its up. Wouldn't suprise me that someone would try.

Anybody think they're gonna update the PlayStation Store with all the content that would've gone up over the time it was down?

Maybe some PS1 games we actually give a shit about?

Hey be nice to me! I get giddy just to get to play Dante and watch glorious graphics in 60 fps. There is no online and I suck anyway, I get excited just at the fast pace of the game.

Um, they have been releasing PS1 games that people have been wanting, so I don't know what you're on about.

You kidding me? They won't. They'll just resume weekly releasing it like there was never an outage. As a result tons of PSN content is going to be delayed over a month or so as a result.

EINHANDER (for US) and RIVAL SCHOOLS

On a more serious note, if my identity gets stolen over this I don't know how crazy I will be

Actually I also paid $35 so I'm also glad I didn't pay full price but I'm now more than pissed I cant link my Steam account.
Ironically I bought it from Jimmy Stav that posted right after me at the same time.

I don't know if it varies by region, but I can't get Netflix to work here in Canada. It says I need to be signed in to the PSN.

US here, and same. It says I need to be signed into PSN. I've just been watching Netflix on my PC.

Like it has been said before, they don't have your social security number so it might be difficult to steal your identity. Just don't fall for any phishing scam and you should be fine.

You get a free PC copy and you can trade in the PS3 version for near cost (making the PC game ~ $7). I think you can't really complain.

Man... I still haven't gotten my Portal 2 in the mail yet, but I was hoping PSN would be up so I can at least change my details. Oh well, guess we'll have to wait a bit longer.

Man, we're reduced to recommending SO4 now?

I'm (half) joking, btw

#1 they still don't know what the fuck going on ...

#2 they have like two people working as fast as the PSN connection (slow)

Playing Marvel 3 offline without a local scene is like masturbation. You're just fucking yourself.

Fighting games beg for online, too bad Marvel 3's is fucking dismal. Bitter bitter about putting $60 toward that and they don't even give you more than 1/4th a game before rumors of a "Super Marvel 3" appear. >:|

Portal 2? I'm glad I paid $60 for it day one and registered my Steam copy right before this shit went down. I've actually had some great split screen times in the period PSN has been down. Plus Portal 2 is actually worth $60.
