Is it also impossible to transfer PS1 classics/PSN games to PSP as well with PSN being down? Because that's what it seemed like when I was trying to transfer over Vagrant Story.

Fuck those trials.

The others up to this point (minus the stupid bow one) are all easy/abuseable. It's just this fucking one with the "one platform that's tiny and going up while you kill enemies" that's the fucking hard one. I don't seem to be able to build up a wrath of the gods before this one to where I get screwed. >:|

It sucks, because if I could just beat this last fucking trial I'd have it.

Man I miss my daily Warhawk sessions, I've gotten so much mileage out of that game. I can't believe I'm still addicted to playing it over 3 years later and it's still fresh & fun. Needless to say, PSN being down has been a real drab in regards to that.

So has this been posted yet?

Joystiq Report: Sony's PSN servers were up to date

"Bitmob reports that Sony's PSN servers were running the most recent version of the Apache server software when they were hit, countering testimony made to the US Congress claiming that the PSN was running "very old versions of Apache software that were unpatched and had no firewall installed."

"Using Google's webcache, a member of the Beyond3D forums showed that as of March 23, Sony was running version 2.2.17, which was the latest stable version."

Sorry for the repost if it has.

Anyone seen this yet: http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2011/05/09/anonymous-get-hacked/

It appears that Anonymous have trouble in their ranks – not that they had ranks to begin with, in fact that’s the problem. The following has been posted on a hacking site:

‘We regret to inform you today that our network has been compromised by a former IRC-operator and fellow helper named “Ryan”. He decided that he didn’t like the leaderless command structure that AnonOps Network Admins use. So he organised a coup d’etat, with his “friends” at skidsr.us . Using the networks service bot “Zalgo” he scavenged the IP’s and passwords of all the network servers (including the hub) and then systematically aimed denial of service attacks at them.’

Sony was targeted by a DOS attack and now Anonymous’ own members have used the same tools to bring down their IRC network.

‘We are profoundly sorry for this drama, and we can’t give you a an estimate on when service will resume normally,’ said Sony Anonymous.

If it has been posted please don't flame me. lol.

That Eurogamer article gives me hope for online play returning this week, but we've been duped once before so I don't know anymore.

From the original Thinq article:

Thinq article said:
The rogue operator - 'Ryan' - who is also alleged to be behind the revamped 'Oh Internet' relaunch of notorious shock site Encyclopedia Dramatica - is accused of stealing the IP addresses and passwords of users on two Anonymous sites, AnonOps.net and AnonOps.ru, before launching Denial of Service (DoS) attacks against them.
The True Face Of Evil here, folks. Anyone who could turn ED into Oh Internet is surely the Devil's own spawn itself. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who hacked PSN, myself.

I, for one, support the old, Arab Spring-helping AnonOps admins...up to a certain point.

Oh, and that Eurogamer article: sorry, boys, but once bitten, twice shy, y'know? I still bet on Thursday, though, if the book's still running.

USA Today didnt write about the PSN hack before today? If so, that is surprising to me, since i feel that this PSN hack has been covere by a lot of media outlets.

His testimony was essentially "I heard a guy who heard a guy". But a lot of people failed to understand that thanks to some shoddy reporting by some sites.

Kutaragi is a Star Child. He evolved much faster than any of us and integrated with the space-time fabric like the space faring aliens who created the Monolith in 2001: Space Odyssey. You can't kill him!

Kaz: I hope Jack noticed the sneaky Anon fool hiding behind me, I'm too drunk to bother...
