I dont know what it is about this stupid damn game
I love it, I love it, I love it
but once again, I am playing it. I already, after a week have a level 63RaCast. Worst of all, I play the Gamecube version, and never online. Just with my bro, and my dad. The three of us just got done with a 6hour marathon.

I just cant seem to get bored with this soul sucker, and I was wondering if there are any other games out there that are very similar to this in terms of 3+player offline games, with leveling, items, e.t.c. I love playing with my bro, and dad, but this is ridiculous. Besides, my Dad plays this game 24/7, and after 3months, has 4charactors over 110.

(For the record, when I stopped playing the first time I had a level 184RaCast)

Does anyone else have an obsession with this game? I've played Burst-blue, had some fun with that, but I cant play it split-screen with pops. Any suggestions would be great. Oh, and only action type games. Pops dont like "Computer controlled point and click bullshit"

I love the suggestions guys, but remember, only action orientated games.

Think Zelda, or PSO. Some interaction, or it wont fly.

yes I need counseling for this game :(

Step up to PSU like I said before I guess. Maybe the Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance games?

dont worry, im the exact same way. I've picked up and put down PSO so many times. Always playing offline, just with my freinds in split screen.

Its a shame PSU didnt have any of the magic PSO had.

PSO on GC is an awesome game.

you and your dad might light ff:cc then for the cube

Yes, I'm like you and no, there's nothing that will give you what PSO does. You can try Illuminati when it comes out this fall, but after the first game (PSU) I'm not holding my breath for it to be good.

Don't waste your time trying to find a new PSO in Diablo II, Monster Hunter or anything else. They'll all just make you wish you were playing PSO.

haha I never played the games thinking they were online only... they have offline mode?

Is it worth trying to track these games down for some fun with multi player? (I am a multi player gamer with the SOLE exception of RPGs and the odd other game *resident Evil 4 Wii.. Trauma Center Wii... and DS games since they are hand held :))

PSO is still one of the best online experiences I've ever had. Even after playing all of those stages to death, there was still something fun about it. Even though a game like WoW is a million times the "world" that PSO was, it still didn't totally hook me like PSO originally did.

I also really wish that PSU had had the same charm that PSO did, because I'd love to get back into the game again. Or, I wish, somehow the Xbox version was still playable online.

True. Something is special about that splitscreen. Too bad PSU didn't have splitscreen.

PSO is one of the few games that I was so heavily addicted to that I'd be thinking constantly during the day, "I can't wait to get home and play that game."

Actually, now would be a good time to dig up my VMUs so I can admire my awesome HUmar and RAcast.

And my sweet MAG collection!!

:D

PSO ep. 1&2 is still the best MMO game evar. Nothing comes even close. :<

I suppose whether it's an MMO or not is up for debate, but yeah...nothing else, such as Diablo II, ever came close to the amount of fun I had playing PSO both offline and online. Great, great game.

PSO Ep 1+2's my favourite game of all time, and I never even went online with it. I spent ages online with the DC version, though. Awesome, awesome game.
