PSP - Championship Manager...

DCharlie

And even i am moderately surprised
... i think i'm in love.

She's not much to look at, but she knows what i like.
She's can't do everything she should, but i can play her alright
She's sometimes a bit difficult, but i know how to fight
She's a bit too random, but i'm still playing all night.

This is HOOOOOOOOOT CHAMPIONSHIP MANANGER LOOOVIN'
and It's my PSP i'm rubbin...
some things might get you vexxed
like the interface or the size of the text

She cost me more than $70, but she worth da money
even if she does a couple o' things a little funny
like when a player retires, after a career that's long
come June of the season, the damn doods just gone!

This is HOOOOOOOOOT CHAMPIONSHIP MANANGER LOOOVIN'
and It's my PSP i'm rubbin...
So baby don't you get excited,
that i don't play as Man United

i've not played CM for a while, but the main screen is fairly static
descriptive text for ingame, not like ridge zooming through traffic
but don't get bent like you is made of elastic
cos you can watch the match via realtime 2d graphic

I tell you, this is HOOOOOOOOOT CHAMPIONSHIP MANANGER LOOOVIN'
and It's my PSP i'm rubbin...
i got it to appease my jock itch
it's just a shame i support Ipswich

and this is HOOOOOOOOOT CHAMPIONSHIP MANANGER LOOOVIN'

something in my pocked for all you wenches
it's hard black and long , around 6.7 inches

I tell you, this is HOOOOOOOOOT CHAMPIONSHIP MANANGER LOOOVIN'

<fade>

(um... this was unplanned, i just noticed the first two lines rhymed...)

My 2 cousins have been playing this shit religiously for a decade or more, now. I should tell them about the PSP version just to see them race each other to sell their mother to be able to afford one.

So, it's actually good? I recall reading somewhere that it was both buggy and difficult, but I guess it might be worth a try. Otherwise there's always the PSP version of Football Manager.

I don't think anyone needs to worry about Sports Interactive, Football Manager 2005 did very well. I believe it set a record as SEGA's fastest selling game ever in the UK (or something similar).

I lost a year of my life on Championship manager way back in the 98/99 season. But I thought the company who made championship manager what it is took the code and now release it as Football Manager, therefore making the new chamionship managers a less than worthy replacement. So why is this so appealing?

I so wanted Sports Interactive to take their audience with them...

still, big stuff. The UK will love it.

Sports Interactive is working on the PSP rev of Football Manager as we speak. Release date? March 16th (only for EU, SEGA do plan to release it in the US sometime in the Q2 - but no release date yet).

I told you they were in trouble...but Carlisle've been doing quite well, so all is good.

Screw Championship Manager, I'm waiting for Football Manager. Sports Interactive for the win!

Hear hear. Football Manager is the real championship manager game. I was really surprised to see that Eidos had gotten their PSP effort out already, but I guess that just means SI are taking their time rather than bunging out some rushed crap in time for Christmas, which is fine.

I'm really addicted to Football Manager 2006.
I don't see how I could play this game anywhere other than the PC though.. Xbox360 version could be interesting since the game runs quite slow on my PC(3.0ghz p4) when I have many leagues going on. But probably they'll have a "simplified" console version anyway.

The PSP version of FM doesnt have the 2d match engine does it? Dont think i could play without that anymore.

"I told you they were in trouble...but Carlisle've been doing quite well, so all is good."

i knew we were in trouble once Joe Royle took over many moons ago.
He`s bad news. :(

Anyways, only worse situation would be supporting premadonna arseheads who still think they are winning the treble this year (see: Rio Ferdinand interview).

Seriously, man utd fans are deluded - when they got the gap back to 9 points, all the manc fans i knew emailed me saying "we will win the championship - this proves we are the best team in the country!"

... um... yeah, 9 (NOW 11) points behind at the half way point - most SANE people would expect that 9 point gap to double if form stays the same... but no arrogant Man U fucks! the sooner they finish in 7th or 8th the better...

If it's anything like the Xbox & PS2 versions then it will probably be one of the worst games of the last 12 months.

Well according to SI the 360 version has everything that the PC version does and even some Xbox Live features that they haven't spoken about. I suppose the biggest difference will be the controls but in the videos I've seen it looks like they will make good use of all those buttons.

To this day I still hear and read about Ipswich fans who are bitter about the 9-0 drubbing Man U gave them.

He DC, aren't you an Ipswich fan!?

yeah, Ipswich and Carlisle fan.

we aren`t bitter - you won 9-0 , we won 3-2 at Portman road..... 3 pts each...

my fondest memory is knocking you out of the cup at portman road - all the local kids came out to support united - it was funny seeing all the kids cry because they couldn`t understand what just happened...

we STINK at the moment though - sacking Burley was a huge mistake, and the club is badly managed from the top levels - we`ve had bags of talent and let it all go.
