I couldn't care less how I look to others in VR. Having a VR White Ranger helmet would just be awesome (IMO).

It wouldn't be an attempt to cover anything up or to look "better"...or "worse".

I think you are reading too much into this... and maybe when the helmet is hanging up or sitting on a desk, it would look cool to said person seeing it with a decal of whatever they are a fan of.
