I love quake but this weekly invite shit is just annoying me now, it's made me lose tons of interest I had in it.

I'm looking forward to it just goint public too. At the moment the players are all far too good. I'm finding it hard to find anyone who doesn't simply destroy me, and I'm not that bad at FPS'. I mean I'm still pretty good at Unreal2004 instagib but theres some quake players who I don't stand a chance against.

Do you mean the features of the CPMA mod or the CPM gametype within it?

Some stuff you can find from videos, interviews and such...
It is built on Vanilla Q3 and stays very close to it
There are better skins available but there are no /pm customizable skins(screen shots, quakecon vids)
Movement is the same or very close. It may or may not be independent of the framerate.
