I'm thinking of upgrading my hand-me-down iPhone 5s to an iPhone 6 and have been looking for decent deals online. I found that Groupon has some "certified refurbished" iPhones on sale, but looking at the reviews it seems like a third say it works, a third says the phone looks good but has software problems, and the final third say the phone almost looks trashed. I'm trying to look online for reviews on how the GS refurbished phones look/perform, but I can't find anything.

Anyone have any experience?

Gamestop would be the last place I buy anything. Look at the their primary age group going in there to trade things in. Would you want their second hand items? I wouldn't.

You can buy used iPhones in a million different places. Gamestop would not be my first, or second, or third, or 10th choice

I bought a refurbished PSP two years ago that is in decentish shape. Can't be any worse than Groupon. Can it?

Now's a bad time anyway. Wait till September for iPhone 7. Prices for old models should go down then.

Mmm, that is a good point. I don't mind being a revision behind. I was just a little worried that my iPhone 5S trade-in value would plummet further by then.
