I was looking through YouTube videos of good Geometry Wars runs to see if I could up some new moves and techniques when I discovered this video.
This guy sees more of the playing field than I do, most definitely. When he goes straight down, he can just almost see both corners at once. I'm not even close to that on my setup, and not seeing enough of the field is my #1 annoyance with the game.
Now, I guess it's obvious that I'm clueless enough about HD stuff to not even know if this question is dumb or not, but is he playing on a higher resolution than me and is that why he's seeing more at once? What settings may that be, if so? I do have access to an HDTV, I just don't use it as it isn't mine and I plan on getting my own pretty soon, but if I can get higher GW scores I'll go hook that sucker up in a second.
Please don't tell me he's just playing on Vista! The lack of stars and grids in the background kinda hint at that as there is no such option on 360.
