You know what? I'm fortunate you asked. I've been having large urges to divulge my opinion in regards to the Blazin' Buffalo Ranch (BBR henceforth). Here's the real truth of the matter: I don't like Cool Ranch! I've never liked Cool Ranch, and I think Cool Ranch is lacking in positively charged taste molecules. My younger sister, she always loved those chips. But she always had the affinity for the things I did not (tomato sauce, Cool Ranch, Butterfinger). We both love salt, though. Gotta have salt for everything (tip: try salt on breakfast sandwiches at McDonald's to make them not suck. Apply this rule to any and all foods lacking in appropriate taste composition for a quick, life-long success model.)

Point being, I have a dislike for Cool Ranch. I can't recollect what it was that possessed me on some random evening of ill consequence to purchase the BBRs, but I did such a thing. I was, perhaps, looking for some kind of new rush. I considered that the color choice for the bag is superb, and the packaging is appealing.

When I came home, I promptly placed them in the freezer. A few hours (and those other things we do occasionally) later, I attempted to recover them and try the new flavor. And what a new flavor it was! Amazing, the descriptor "Blazin'" is great. They really blaze out of the bag and in to your mouth like a bat out of hell with a taste as sweet as a female lifeguard on the California coast.

I couldn't believe the intensity of the flavor. If you like the "mild" and "relaxed" Cool Ranch, you may not like the "explosive" and "engaging" taste of the BBR.

Regardless, I highly endorse it with the most superior of recommendations.

Taste: These are (or at least were) the best Doritos ever. The texture is standard Doritos, but there's a healthy serving of jalapeño heat too. It's hard to find this flavor in stores; unfortunately, they're only available in certain areas. However, as good as the chips are, this bag was quite disappointing — I had a bag of these several years back, and they were actually quite a bit hotter than the bag that I'm eating right now. They used to be the boldest and most daring flavor of Doritos that Frito-Lay has ever produced. Now that they've been watered down, they might still be Frito-Lay's hottest, but they pale in comparison to some other hot chips. So please, bring back the original formula and restore Salsa Verde Doritos to their rightful place near the top of the chip hierarchy.

Aroma: Not too hot, just smells like toasted corn chips.
