yea it is, i thought that these new chapters were going to be bad since chapter 13 got off to a slow start, but I was wrong
 
I haven't been keeping up with this, but does he purposefully make it cheesy/rediculous, Or is he actually being serious about this? Also, is that a little person I see talking on a phone in the poster?
 
Yes! First thing I'm going to do when I get off work is watch the new eps.

There are times when it's obvious that they're playing it up for laughs but there's some unitentional hilarity in it as well.

The little person is probably Big Man.

It's R.Kelly. He's dead serious about this. It's unintentionally funny just like most of his other absolutely retarded music.
 
holy crap its that same beat with the water drop in it. the moment the midget bust in to that show, i was gone.:lol :lol :lol
 
LOl this stuff is soo fricking awesome..

13-14-15 were meh but interesting as the plot thickened... but 16 hahaha what a great ending..

The funniest thing about this crap to me is the random outbursts of the narrator.. like when he busts out of the closet when the guy was about to find the midget.. I almost pee'd my pants when I saw that.

Episode 18 is up... and ... I actually like it... Nothing really funny in it.. Just the way the music changes from genre and song to another.. while staying the same pretty much is really cool...

And the cliff hanger.. Wow... its a doozy if it's going to turn out how its implied...

NEW YORK -- R. Kelly's closet is getting bigger _ and more bizarre.

The singer premiered the sequel to his twisted and craftily campy "Trapped in the Closet" video serial with a red-carpet extravaganza in New York on Wednesday night.


"Don't ask me to explain it," Kelly told the audience before the videos aired. "I don't know how to explain how I wrote it."

It might be hard for anyone to explain Kelly's ghetto soap opera, which includes a gay pastor, cheating spouses, a convict named 'Twon and a well-endowed midget. In the new episodes _ chapters 13 through 22, for those keeping count _ he adds an old reverend, ex-con lesbians and a stuttering pimp, played by Kelly himself.

"I call it an alien," Kelly said of his tour-de-farce.

The "alien" first appeared in 2005, when the singer-songwriter premiered "Trapped in the Closet," a five-part song series that kicked off with a man hiding in his paramour's closet as her husband comes in; each song ended with a cliffhanger.

Soon afterward, Kelly released a DVD video of the series, adding seven more chapters _ and with each chapter, the plot got weirder. But despite _ or perhaps because _ of its "Jerry Springer"-like appeal, it has become a cult classic.

Kelly's upcoming September trial on child pornography charges haven't dampened anticipation for the next installment of "Trapped": Parts of the new series have been premiering on Independent Film Channel's Web site since Monday; the DVD with the complete series hits stores on Tuesday. The IFC will show them in their entirety in September.

Like the chapters before it, the 22nd chapter ends with a cliffhanger. Does that mean there are more chapters to come? Kelly says he's not sure when the series will be done, but says it will finish "when the aliens decide to leave."
