Even if the movie sucks as bad as S-M3 (it wont; it should hopefully be pretty good), her appearance alone would bring it up several notches. Wouldnt be the most farfetched thing either, seeing as McAdams was a finalist for Sue Storm in FF.

It just occurred to me that this comes out in just under a year and a half. With the massive amount of pre-production, principal photography, and post-production these movies go through, they can't be that far away from starting production. Probably very early 2010, which is like 2 months away.

No, she is confirmed is being IN the movie. Her, along with Tobey and Dylan Baker (Dr Connors) are the only confirmed ones so far. Obviously they'll get JK Simmons back to do Jameson as well. I doubt Elizabeth Banks will return, though.

I do find it rather hilarious how Dunst's career has done a complete 180. She thought she was hot shit after S-M1, didnt want to do either of the sequels, thought she was going to make it big as a leading lady. Then there was drugs, booze, and Gyllenhaal. Now here we are, and post-Mary Antoinette she can barely get a role. All of a sudden Spidey 4 is looking awful good to her again :lol
