Radiohead have released a surprise new live album featuring performances of songs from their sixth album, 2003's Hail to the Thief.
You can stream it digitally, and watch video of "There, There" recorded in Buenos Aires below; a one-off physical pressing is also available for pre-order.

Still the best band :messenger_ok:

Don't think I'll ever forget picking up copies of Pablo Honey, Nirvana's Nevermind and Prodigy's Music for the jilted generation in one go. Back when you actually had headphones in the shop you could listen on..

Damn, thinking back, owning a CD was a glorious thing to behold!

Indeed. They did release a from the basement version of The King of Limbs right? I must have it somewhere
Yes (as a video -- sadly never as a properly mixed album release, and the video audio quality isn't great at times). The version of Bloom on it is superb, infinitely better than the album:

their In Rainbows basement set was also amazing.

I was there (3000 years ago) when they toured live for this and the political environment at that time could be felt during the set and was alluded to throughout the tour.

2 + 2 = 5 was a scathing indictment of the former ape and the parallels with the current one seem pretty blatant.

Have seen them twice. With the In Rainbows tour and the Moon Shaped Pool tour. Both were amazing but the In Rainbows one was really top notch. It's definitely my favourite album and Thom's voice was at his best. Closed the set with How to disappear Completely, just goosebumps and absolute nailed the performance

Really didn't do much for me. I always thought the album was sorta weak aside from Go to Sleep. I think it's cool they put out a live version of it though. I'd love to see live versions of all of their stuff (yes even Pablo Honey. Because its their best work still next to OKC)

Buying cd's from Andy's Records, Our Price etc etc.
Looking at the sleeve on the bus ride home, "Woah, lyrics are in here, cool"
That tangible foreplay before the main event.
And it's all gone.

That I Will version tho. Not often I heard Thom this clean live.

The versions of the songs are very good. Think I am going to buy the vinyl

wow these guys are still going? I thought they broke up long ago
it has been nearly a decade since their last album (although the two leads Thom & Johnny have been making albums together under The Smile)... but with a new tour coming, it seems likely that an album will finally follow.

It's on my vinyl player now. It's very good; too bad two songs are missing tho but that's just me and Thom's voice is on and off but that's part of the course.
It's such a fantastic band man.
