I consider Scott Pilgrim one of the greatest comics ever made. Not just an as indie book, but as a example of the comic medium. And I'm as far away from being a hipster as you'll ever meet.

The movie was alright. Wish they didn't cram in all 6 volumes of the series into 2 hours. They miss out on a lot of the character development and gags that make the series.

I liked it myself.

If nothing else visually it's a really interesting movie and is fairly unique to watch. It had a lot of creativity and talent put into it by edgar Wright. Cinematography was really good also.

As much as i like the movie and the director, the movie completely flies over the point that the comic tries to make. Scott is the villain of the story and only realizes it at the end, and in that same vein so is Ramona but she already knows it at least.

Edit: Also Kim is obviously the best girl in the story.
