Rampage Jacksons stupid ass son nearly kills a wrestler

His dad is a cunt and so is he.

The earlier incident looked like everyone (I guess besides Raja) was having a laugh, nothing serious. This fucking bitch then decided it was cool to nearly kill the man. Throw him in jail and make the asshole pay for all of the medical bills, I'd say that's fair. They can include all of the dickheads who contributed to this instead of stopping it as well.

Rampage Jackson is a bad Dad and he raised (if he had any real involvement) Raja poorly, leaving him feeling he needed to prove himself or be seen as a blemish on the family name.

Not to mention, Ram egged him on to prove that he isn't some sissy punk, leading Raja to fall to pier pressure and went overboard, with his emotional outburst.

I hope he get prosecuted and Stuart Smith seeks proper justice, because what Raja did to him was anything BUT justified.

knockx just seems like a terrible place for wrestlers , very unprofessional
I wonder if WWE/Rikishi will distance themselves from it. If they don't they need to clean that place up.

Jim Cornette put out a video on this yesterday and he said it perfectly. "Put someone in charge there who knows what the fuck they're doing."

But good if someone did it!

Everyone is just waiting for the cops to bust down the door and drag raja to his cell.

Feel like it wont happen though. Is Sty even pressing charges?

Nah, he'll turn himself in to get booked when the time comes. Paying his bail is a non-issue so he'll be back out in no time.

They have a ton of people to interview so that's likely why the investigation is taking so long.

Is there an update on Stu's condition?

Also, I note Mr Beast has contributed 10k to the gofundme, I wonder if he'll spotlight the story and help get this a bit more attention.

You all not blaming the referee more is disgusting. The referee should be fired maybe even sued, if not arrested.

A) The modern pro wrestling ref absolutely has duty towards the safety and health of the wrestlers.
B) "wElL iT'S nOt HiS jOb To StOp A mAn BeInG bEaTeN tO dEaTh SiX iNcHeS aWaY fRoM hIm" is a cancerous position, and if you think like that congrats you make the world a worse place.

More than who, the guy who pummeled a man nearly to death? I agree that the ref should have done something, for sure, but I think the right people are being blamed in this scenario, and that's Raja primarily, and then the cowboy fuck who egged him on and his prick father for raising a thug.

I think the response is delayed because until the punches keep raining down everyone is firmly in a mindset of 'I am watching a play fight' and you can see in the video that inertia takes a while to overcome. The assault begins with what appears to be a wrestling move which the victim appears to play along with, which acts like a multiplier on that inertia. 'Injured' wrestler by the rope is looking right at it and stays 'in character' through the entire assault.

I don't consider the 'referee' here (who appears to be a dwarf compared to these guys) to have any particular obligation beyond that of any other bystander. If he does have a duty of care to prevent wrestlers accidentally hurting each other in the course of performing the show, I'm not sure that would extend to having to act as a bodyguard / security to protect wrestlers from a member of the public. It would be heroic if he did intervene first, but the vast majority of people would not be the first to intervene here imo (without being armed or at least close to a physical match with the attacker).

Even MMA refs sometimes have trouble dragging a fighter off an unconscious opponent, especially if there was beef between the two guys.

Arrested on what charge?

In Seinfeld it would have been the good Samaritan law.

I would think this ref will have a hard time getting work in this industry after this.

Then again, seems like very action is taking place. WWE severed ties with them but I would have thought knocx pro would have made some official statement that they were clearing house.

Still no news on Raja Jackson being arrested , if LAPD is going to be this slow to act can't we get Dog the Bounty Hunter or someone to go after him?

How is this guy not in cuffs yet?
The wrestling organization told his cronies to not speak with the police so things are going slow.

Not that you should need any investigation when the whole 2 hours documentary is fucking available in 4k for everyone to watch...

If the skin colors of victim and perpetrator were switched, you can bet his ass would be already in jail, the sad reality of 2025.

It's hilarious if their excuse here is they don't have enough evidence because people aren't helping with the investigation. Like you said there 2 hours worth of evidence in fucking 4k.

Hot take, I don't think this guy is going to be arrested. I've seen how the LAPD/DA operates for decades with rich people, political people, celebrities, nepo babies, etc. This is exactly how they operate. They slow walk these investigations and then just let them disappear into the ether. They really only move when they are forced to, like when there is a dead body - and even then they slow walk it and see how they can get out of actually doing their job (example: Ed Buck).

Syko Stu isn't dead, they'll classify this as a misunderstanding and make sure Rampage Jackson pays off Stu's bills and a bit on top and move on. If this was any other place Raja Jackson would be arrested and charged by now, but he had the good fortune of trying to murder this man in Los Angeles.

No he wouldn't, he's an actor.
A dude on reddit proclaimed himself to be an amateur referee for wrestling for the past 10 years and the list of things these dude have to do is pretty long, and a good part of that is related to maintaining fighters healthy is some way, i'm trying to find the post because it was a very big ass list.
Maybe it's not the same for every organization vut i wanted to point out that.

I don't think it's a stretch to say that nobody is gonna go out of their way to offer a job to this dude, he has to hope that this thing doesn't explode even more and his face\name doesn't become public enough.

The whole promotion is looking sketchy and amateurish to say the least and i bet rumors travel between these amateur wrestling organizations...

I hope stu sue the whole promotion to oblivion, they are acting like turds, but it doesn't look like the vindictive type.

They are performers, that's the end of it, they aren't security, bodyguards, actual referees or medics; they are there to keep the show on track because they know the entire playbook, that's why they'll sometimes do things like do dramatically slower counts to hype up the crowd with a last moment kickout, it's all scripted, if they have earpieces they generally also get a bunch of direction from the producers.
If a bump looks bad they'll generally ask the wrestler if they are ok, who will either say yes, call it early, or no. In the case of no a shoot is declared and the ref ends the match.

You think this woman would be able to actually get in between these men if something set them off for real?

No the actual security would step in to handle it, not the actors in the ring.

Well, the ref isn't stupid. The guy that ended up breaking up the fight got punched in the face. Everybody there is probably only doing this as a hobby.

I know this organization is more amateur, but I'm thinking they bent the rules a little bit because they felt bad about the can incident. Cowboy hat guy was telling Raja to stiff him but I'm sure only once at most. The guy that ended up breaking up the fight (Doug) was approached by people that said "something isn't right" and and asked him to help out just in case. So I think somebody there was watching the Raja stream and Doug was the only one that had real fighting experience.

Again, I'm really curious to see how this all lands legally. One of the lawyer videos that I saw made me think he's going to get single-digit prison time at most, since attempted murder is harder to prove.

I just reported what i read, these referees are not only actors, they have a long list of duties that are involved with the safety of the athletes.

Stopping a fight is probably not in the contract but a big part of their job is to keep fighters healty.

Add to that the fact that over there are all friend and stu was there since the beginning so he probably knew everyone better than everyone else doesn't really help.

I would not feel safe with that dude on the ring.

Wrestling referees aren't real referees, they're actors/failed wrestlers, probably just doing it because they enjoy it and get a little to no money out of it. They certainly don't get paid enough to risk injury, except maybe the ones on WWE.

not really, this only extends to the part I mentioned where they will ask if a wrestler is ok, they aren't medics, even if they get a cut it won't end the match unless the wrestler says to call it early.
Liv morgan had a very nasty cut on her face, but she kept going even will blood covering her face

But when she actually got injured a couple months ago, the signaled the ref to call a shoot, the match was ended and the actual professionals came to her aid

The ref is just a goddamn actor who knows what the storyline is, nothing more nothing less.

I'm trying to find that damn post but i visited too many topics about the argument on reddit...

Raja would have murdered that ref if he tried to intervene
Dude was completely focused on killing the other man, sucker punch or kick to the head from behind had virtually no risk, dude was not about to block an hit from his blindside while being completely unfocused, dude is not batman, at least fucking try.

no force is excessive when you try to stop a kill.

Doug, who was bigger than Raja, was attacked when he tried to break it up. Doug even said Raja would have killed him if he got the double leg takedown.

Doug intervened when raja was already being pulled away from the dude, his focus already switched to the other aggressors, watch him while he is punching stu, dude is completely absorbed, even when they initially try to pull him off he is COMPLETELY focused on getting another punch in, i was talking about the first thing to do while he was distracted, no matter how mad or strog you are, you are not gonna be ok if someone sucker kick your fucking head at full power from behind or the side when you are on your knees.

Dude was not about to even see the blow coming on its way, no other way around.

Doug also admitted that he wasn't trying to hurt the guy so his first approach was to pull him off not cause damage, he can't say what would happen if he tried to intervene with the purpose to fuck up the guy, that's a biiiig difference.

Dude was too much of a good man for its own detriment, i bet he regret that he only tried to tackle raja instead of going ham from second 1, raja deserved no pity or human decency towards him.

Oh and just for the record, soccer kicks to the head were enough to finish much bigger and better fighters tham raja during pride times, there is no way dude was about to absorb that and be ok.

The ref is clearly not fit to handle an unhinged animal seeing red. Is he a bitch for not doing anything? Yes. Would you and I intervene? Probably. It's instinct. The ref didn't have the means or the will.

You don't need to be fit to kick someone in the head from behind or the side and i'm not even talking specifically about the ref, anyone of the wrestlers who watched that could have been done that, doug was mad at everyone who didn't helped stu, not just the ref.
Someone called him and he had to make his way to the ring and make people move, no chance there wasn't a closer wrestler that could have helped.

The referee and everyone else lacked balls but let's not act like you can't damage another human ready to be kicked in the face because you are not 250 pounds of muscles, dude is not superman and those are amateur wrestlers, definitely more fit and stronger tham your average joe.

Like i added on my previous post, soccer kicks to the head were enough to finish much bigger and better fighters tham raja during pride times, there is no way dude was about to absorb that and be ok.

My closing statement is that acting like waiting for doug was the only option available while the cunt was raining life ending blows is absolutely ridicolous and there is no way to spin it.

If your friend get beaten in the street, you immeditely react without waiting for someone else.

I'm not acting like anything. I'm just being realistic about the situation. In your hypothetical situation, let's say the ref kicked Raja in the head, but since he lacks training and isn't physically fit it doesn't faze Raja. Now what?

And i'm telling you that you don't need to be fit to cause damage kicking someone in the head, a kid could kill me with a kick to the head if he catch me well.

People die or get concussed for much, much less, ffs the cunt itself got a mild concussion for being kicked at half power during spar the day before the accident...

I'm not mad at you, i'm talking in general, but it sound ridicolous trying to normalize nobody helping a dude being massacred, i'm not gonna accept any "realistic" scenario where that is the only option, i don't wanna live in a world where we rationalize this shit.

I'm hardly the only one who has this opinion.

That's common sense but the ref was unlikely to do any serious damage to Raja. He wa sour of his depth in that situation and froze up. It happens.

I would hope you aren't mad at me. This conversation isn't that serious.

I wanted to clarify because sometimes people exchange my drive for anger.

nobody is saying it's the only option, simply that it's a matter of fact that humans will behave differently in various situations because humans are not a hive mind or programmed to behave exactly the same; and since it's not the actors' job to handle the situation in such a manner, it's unreasonable to place any blame on them, the only one that has any fault is the animal that committed the attack.
