I've become so de-sensitized to all the wrestling deaths over the last several years, but this one kind of hurts.

Hell of a performer to have made that kind of connection with his audience.

he was one of my favorites growing up, and his slim jim commercials were awesome, too.

i'm going to watch the wrasslor episode of dexter's lab now.

I know that was great. Who among us hasn't done that move to a brother, sister, or cousin from off the back of the couch? Both hands raised, index fingers in the air, a little wind-up, then the big drop.

Eddie was the last one that still hurts to this day.

Benoit hurts too, actually, but I miss Eddie and Owen the most.

Hell yeah, one of my favorite moves to do anywhere. Any person on a raft was usually the victim of the elbow drop growing up.
 
A huge part of my childhood years was watching the WWF, and this news absolutely sucks. The guy was an entertainer to the max, and a larger than life figure. Definitely a sad day and start to the weekend.

Andre the Giant for me, guy got out of wrestling with class. Also loved Princess Bride.

Man, its like these wrestling greats are destined to die tragic. I loved Randy Savage, partly because he strangely always reminded me of Wolverine. Pretty much all my favorite childhood wrestlers are dead except for Sean Micheal's and Cocoa Beware. R.I.P

I was just reminded of his awesomeness when he appeared on the promos for that new WWE All Stars game.

RIP Legend.
 
RIP one of the greats. It seemed like recently the WWE was trying to repair their relationship with him, but now it's too late.
