Rank the Lunar Games!

1-Silver Star Story Complete
2-Eternal Blue Complete
3-Eternal Blue
4-The Silver Star
...

There was other lunar games? :P

.

By the way, did anyone like the vocal song opening to Lunar Silver Star on Sega CD?

I wasn't too stoked on it at first, but eventually it kinda grew on me.

1. Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete
2. Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete
3. Lunar: Eternal Blue
4. Lunar: The Silver Star
5. Magic School Lunar!
6. Lunar Legend
7. Lunar: Walking School
8. Lunar: Dragon Song

I think the two "Complete" games were the only time I actually enjoyed going out of my way to pay more for a U.S. game because of the packaging -- there are a few exceptions, I guess. I used to know a kid that wore the necklace that came with Eternal Blue Complete to school everyday. :lol

One of my old friends used to sit in his underwear, wearing the lucia pendant, playing Lunar: Eternal Blue Complete day in and day out.

It was quite a sight. *shudders*

That Lucia pendant had a weird effect on people. Cool inclusion in the package though.

Lunar: Eternal Blue Complete (PSX) > Lunar: The Silver Star (Sega CD) > Lunar: The Silver Star Complete (PSX) > Lunar: Eternal Blue (Sega CD) > Magic School Lunar! (Saturn) > Lunar Legends (GBA) > Lunar: Dragon Song (DS)

First post nearly has it, just switch around SSC and SS. Sorry, but I really loved the PSX remakes. I played just a bit of each SCD game and liked it, but didn't love them until I played the remakes.

I actually started playing Lunar: The Silver Star today. I'm slowly getting in to it. It has probably the worst voice acting ever :lol Haven't played other Lunar games but I have Lunar: Eternal Blue waiting for me ;)

LUNAR isn't even in the same universe as truly bad stuff.

So Vic, I gotta ask, have you played Lunar Legends? Dragon Song? I'd love to hear your opinion on those :lol

True Fact: I'm legally bound not to say anything negative about LUNAR flavors that came post-WD. It was part of the agreement when we sold the rights back to Game Arts that enabled them to use bits of what we did (character names specific to the US versions we did) in the DS games.

Besides, I think you all are smart enough to arrive at proper conclusions. :)

That's amazing, I've never heard of anything like that. :lol :lol :lol

Never played the JP-only iterations, but...

Lunar EB / EBC > Lunar SS / SSC >>> Lunar Legends >>>>>>>>>> Lunar DS

Quick question, did you use local actors for all your dubs?

I ask only because I have lived fairly close to the city where Working Designs was situated for the last 13 years and was just curious.

In the box, with the little pushthingys still in its packge... unopened.

It was primarily actors from the local theatre group(s) and the college drama department, although I had to cast a wider net to outside the area as the speaking casts of the games got bigger and there weren't enough qualified actors to fill the parts. We did exactly two open auditions in 15 years, but they were such terrible, soul-sucking experiences (think what they show on American Idol, but 10x worse), it was always a last resort.
