This is getting out of control. I feel like I can't enter any thread without a person saying something of mildly low quality made them "cringe", or that any whiff of mediocrity was "cringeworthy".

Please pick up a goddamn thesaurus and learn to express your displeasure using a wider breadth of the English language.

Your post perfectly illustrates one of my issues with the overuse of the word. You're not cringing. You're not mortified. If people really are doing these things anytime they think dialogue was bad, then the issue is really that you're far too sensitive when it comes to digesting entertainment below your preferred quality.

Essentially, if I can sit through Birdemic without wincing, you should be able to control your body during Age of Ultron. If everything is cringeworthy, then nothing is.
