What on earth makes you think Drek will even be in the movie?

So, THIS is how they plan to get those "Toy Story graphics".
THey have mentioned quite a few times this is an origin story....and pretty much all of the other games require at least a basic primer on characters in RC universe
They said they were working on it. I Hope its the Future trilogy Ratchet they use

That would kick all kinds of ass. Sucks that we probably won't even get PJ's 48fps. I wouldn't watch this movie in 3D without HFR.
COnsidering this is a low budget movie and that would take at least twice the rendering time...not gunna happen

Great teaser. I'll be looking forward to this. I always thought the humor and the characters in the games are a great fit for a Pixar-style movie.
You know, it would've made sense to attach a new trailer to Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2, but I guess 2015 puts a damper on that.

There's a robot taxi driver? :/ That's dumb. The taxi's in the games always drove themselves.
The God of War movie already exists. It's called "Clash of the Titans". They even made a sequel to it called "Wrath of the Titans". Kratos looks weird in those movies though - they gave him hair and took away his tattoos. :/

So looking forward to this, it was LONG overdue.
I know people have said they're two completely separate divisions, but still, I would've loved to have seen Sony Animation do this, it just would've made sense. Sony need to unify their divisions more, like how Afrika actually used Sony cameras IIRC, that was a wicked touch.
What's weird, is that a veteran Mainframe director directed the Sly trailer, and the movie's style looks ass. We've seen Sly in realistic-ish CG before (PlayStation Movie Heroes and All-Stars IIRC), but jeez they just went Alvin and the Chipmunks on Sly. X_x But Ratchet looks SO GOOD!
Hope a Jak movie if it is in the cards as well is like Ratchet and not Sly here.
