BUndling the last version fo rayman 2 ( with the mini games ) with this one would have made this an excellent HD collection ..

Dang, how did I miss this. After playing Origins, I'm interested in acquiring the rest of the series. I've played some of Rayman 2, and I wish they would be remastering it instead, but I'm still down for this.

Why is everyone asking for rayman 2? Its been ported to death. I've bought it 3 times and beat it more than that. Rayman 3 is decent. I might get the HD version when there is a sale.

1) The GBA version of this (and its more Spyro GBA-like "sequel") is quite good

About time Ubisoft acknowledges that the series exists outside of number 2. I still think 3 was probably one of the best platformers from the Xbox/GCN/PS2 era, only being outclassed by the likes of Jak, Sly, and Mario Sunshine. Loved this game and will most certainly buy if priced at $10. If people like the charm, humor, and gameplay variety of the series, 3 matches that quite well.

Rayman 3 is the one I never got around to playing, something about it seemed off, but after going through Origins I'm on such a Rayman trip that I just can't wait!

When this first came out, I was disappointed that it wasn't as good as Rayman 2, but I tried it again recently and was surprised at how fun it is. The HD upgrade looks great, too. Hopefully they'll update Rayman 2 next.

If they make a HD versioan of Rayman 2 later on I wonder what version they would base it on? I've heard the different versions are quite different.
